Bitcoin As Long Term Investment?

In my opinion Bitcoin is definitely a place of long term investment. Bitcoin will reach a better level in the near future at the rate at which the price of Bitcoin has started to rise. So my idea is that if Bitcoin can be held in the long run, then of course better profits can be expected. Undoubtedly, the future of Bitcoin is very bright.

Honestly, many people including me is looking at Bitcoin more as an investment asset (which we are wishing can be rising up all the time though this is impossible) more than a payment network and that is the reason why we are holding on to it and will not be moving no matter what.

Since we are thinking more like an investor rather than as a consumer,  should we then look at Bitcoin as a long-term investment just like getting into real estate? And how long is the long-term here, 5 years, 10 years?

I have read many opinions at this forum. They have said bitcoin is good for short term investment now. Buy more and hold for several months or so daily trading. You wil get the big profit from this coin. Bitcoin has shown good performance.

The price of bitcoin will definitely go up sooner or later, because if it doesn't go up the losers are the bitcoin miners, this scheme has been thought of by Satoshi Nakamoto so that the price of bitcoin will increase every year, holding bitcoin for the long term is not a bad choice if you want to make a profit.

I disagree if bitcoin is a suitable investment for the short term, the reason is because of the high volatility short-term investments will make novice investors panic easily, I really agree if it's for the long term because if it's based on trends and halving every 4 years it will make bitcoin prices rise higher.

Actually I don't agree with this statement. Because indeed this Bitcoin can be used for long-term and short-term investments. In the long run the profits are definitely greater. However, in the short term it can generate profits.
