The first half between Manchester City and Wolves have just ended, Man City with a goal lead, thanks to De Bruyne... Man City are taking the fight for a top four finish with great importance, a win here would see them move up to 3rd place behind Liverpool and Arsenal with just 3 games left in the season. They are the first team to play for this week, so Newcastle would still the chance to reclaim the 3rd spot when the face Brighton on Sunday.

Man City have dominated the possession in the first half, but Wolves are also causing some serious threat, as expected of a team that have won all 6 of their last league matches, a feat that is best current active winning streak across the league. I think the 2nd half will not be any different and Wolves could still stun Man City if they don't find a way to put the game out beyond reach early.
From the match performance I have seen from Manchester City, It can be said that they are qualifying for the Champions League next season. They are winning their remaining three matches to keep them strong in the 3rd or 4th place of the Premier League table.

Manchester City have shown that they can really have a comeback at any time to achieve their aim of appearing at the top of the table. A month or two months ago, many of us were doubting the chances of Manchester City reaching the top table. Look at where they are today, occupying the 3rd spot of the PL.

For what happened to them today a lot of people were disappointed, I'm even surprised that Arsenal will do what they did today, normally anything that make Arsenal score the first goal of any match they will hardly allow an equalizer let alone losing this bad against Bournemouth, the game was actually going well at the beginning till when the goal for Bournemouth started and after then it was as if the load was unbearable for Arsenal and Bournemouth keep striking till they won the match finally, so the excitement of all the players of Bournemouth shows that the wining meant a lot.
Lately, Arsenal's performance in the Premier League has been very bad, even in several consecutive matches, they have only won 1 match. While for now, the number of points difference with Man City is only 3 points, this is very low, considering that previously the points were still very far behind.

This makes us continue to think whether Arteta and Arsenal no longer care about the EPL, and they only focus on the UCL? but the problem is, if their points continue to drop and they are overtaken by Man City and also Newcastle and Chelsea, then their position will also be threatened, to be able to enter the UCL again. This must be stopped, at least, there is a victory even though it is a small difference. Because in this match against Bournemouth, Arsenal was much more dominant in various aspects, but they failed to execute. .

Not the best day for Arsenal. After taking a 1-0 lead against Bournemouth in the 34th minute, it looked like everything was going according to plan, but Bournemouth decided not to go easy and they stunned Arsenal with two goals of their own in the late 2nd half, returning home victorious with 3 more points to their record.
Not that long ago, Arsenal's 2nd place seemed unthreatened, but it seems like Arsenal might be in a little bit of a crisis. In their last 5 league games, they've won only once, and today's loss at home doesn't spark much optimism.
Currently, they are only 3 points ahead of the 3rd Man City, but if Newcastle wins tomorrow, the gap between Newcastle and Arsenal would be only 2 points.
If Arteta doesn't put his team right for the remaining 3 games, I wouldn't be surprised if they drop down to the 3rd or even 4th place at the very end of the season.

Have they started to lose confidence? Losing at home makes fans disappointed especially before losing at home to PSG the disappointment is even deeper.
It is indeed difficult to understand why their game is so easily penetrated by the opponent even though we know Arsenal's attacking game is not too bad it's just that on several occasions the opportunity did not become a goal, now we doubt them in the second leg of the UCL.

We are claiming to be disappointed in Arsenal for losing at home to PSG but do we really expected Arsenal to win PSG just like that as if we didn't see how their journey has been from day one in the Champions League, they are  organized well prepared team in this Champions League and they have never for once wish they played well in the first leg, anytime they play they beat their opponents.

Arsenal isn't that bad but I don't have confidence in them if they were going to win this Champions League between Inter and Barcelona. Those two battle each other like it's final and that was just semi final. It's only PSG that can match these two teams who ever qualify in the second leg.
Yeah maybe you see this team is organized but see when at the end of the season often Arsenal find a dead end that often lose even though it is to get crucial points, as we know their mentality to be a champion is still not in this team.

Against PSG in the second leg can still be in doubt especially playing away, if Arsenal manage to win and qualify then it's a good achievement for Arteta and his players, if they lose then they have to let it go.

No consistency and determination…at least a draw but see Arteta now lost home and away to Bournemouth. lol
The pressure and stress Arsenal create for themselves is unmatched and Arteta does all the talking without walking.

The fans deserve better performances, the huge performance needed on Wednesday. Good luck...

This is what we always see from Arsenal when the season is about to end. They actually have to experience a very deep decline so that it makes them fail to compete and even their position can be very threatened.

I have seen this at least in the last 3 seasons which always happens the same thing. I don't understand why this always happens, because if you say they are tired, then all the teams feel the same thing.

The problem with Arsenal is that they get weak in the long run, because this has repeatedly happened over and over again. Maybe, they feel reluctant believing that they have tried their best. I feel something is qrong somewhere which causes the problem. If care is not taken we might see Arsenal in the Europa Competition next season if they continue dropping points because their rivals are too many.

How will a team that has not won a particular game eventually relax when the game has not ended yet be that's to say such team is not supposed to be part of the competition in the first place, I have watched arsenal pattern of football but what I see is repetition of events, when you least expect them to perform very well thats when they will do excellently Greta but when you don't they'll will pay as if their life depends on such match, that's was what happens in their game with Real Madrid in the UEFA champions league where they defeated Realmadrd home and away.

Have you guessed that Manchester United can no longer compete in the Premier League? Because they seem to have no passion anymore. Lol

Obviously the defeat to Brentford was embarrassing, but some fans are still proud that they can look forward to the Europa League for the only trophy they're chasing - and there's still a chance of winning it given the current state of affairs.

After a 4-3 defeat to Brentford, Man United are now on 6 6-game no-win streak. I don't think the current expectation for the club is anything more than to avoid relegation, but this might pose a question about whether Amorim was the right replacement for Ten-Hag.
At least they still have a real chance to win the Europa League cup, which would grant them the right to play in the Champions League next season and would be a success United's fans are starving for.

Newcastle leaves Brighton with only one point, which means Man City stays in third place for now, with a one-point gap between them.

Liverpool seemed to have taken a relaxed approach when playing Chelsea and didn't try to do much to prevent the hosts from earning 3 points. I can't say I'm very surprised.
Now Newcastle and Chelsea each have the same number of points (63) and identical goal difference.

Their performance in the Europa League overshadows whatever results they have in the Premier League. Their current form n Europe is probably enough to say he's the better manager over ETH. I'm pretty confident that MU board and fans already accepted that PL is out of reach and that's maybe why fans are still happy.

I guess Liverpool being confirmed as the league winners have impacted their performance and zeal for the game, there is nothing to lose now, more so some of the guys are likely going to be exiting the club in the summer, so you really can tell that the hunger is no longer the same from when the season began to after the mid season compared to what we saw against Chelsea. Their next game is going to be another tough against another team fight to retain the 2nd position in Arsenal.

Chelsea came to the party to make a statement, but unfortunately the party was with playing against kids ;D . If Liverpool had fielded it's A team that 2-1 result should have been the other way round, but fortunately for Chelsea their visitors had to play youngsters as league title was already secured and now it's just running down the remaining games.

I guess it official now that we've seen the last of Trent Alexander Arnold in the English Premier League, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on X,

Quote from: x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1919317323673928091
🚨 BREAKING: Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, here we go! 💣⚪️

Decision to leave Liverpool now confirmed as Trent says goodbye to the club after winning one more PL title.

Documents being prepared for Trent to join Real Madrid on a 5 year contract, verbal agreement done.

Everyone probably saw this coming from last summer when he decided to stall and not renew his contract with Liverpool, I think the fan should be fine because it could have been worse, with Salah and Van Dijk only renewing their contract some weeks ago, all there of them were bound to leave the club this summer so keeping two of them should be a win enough.

Yeah I think you're right the Europa League run is kind of masking, how poor theyve been in the league. Maybe Amorim just fits better with European competition for now.  Still I feel like you cant ignore a 6 game no win streak in the league its incredibly awful for a club like United.  If they dont win the Europa League then this whole season will look like a huge failure .Ten Hag had his troubles but I dont think Amorim has demonstrated hes clearly better yet.
