Market price increase or decrease will always happen from certain to another, and the price of Eth or any other coin/tokens will always go up or down, it is a normal market situations any time. Obviously, there is time for everything, there is time when there may be  higer demand and or lower demand or even neutral conditions whether Eth 2.0 is launching or no. Sometimes, we may experience a higher market price based on speculation, a negative news or positive news etc.
Let hope that Eth 2.0 will boost the price of Ethereum when it is finally launched.
