No moderator in cryptocurrency ecosystem is the nest of spams?

In my opinion the section without a moderator is the possible nest of spam posts. Why? Because no one who moderate the section.
I think there should be a moderator to control messages and measure the quatity postings.
Moderators helps a lot to make the forum in control and stabilize place.

right, I think we need a moderator to modernize that section. I often find some spammers in the section without moderators. as in the bounty section some members send POAs even though the bounty has ended. maybe we should be active to immediately report to moderator

A moderator is needed to identify quality posts. However, I think the current moderators are quite active and give time here. Look at my sections, especially in my native section where the number of people has increased a lot. There is a way to identify spamming, to report spamming, to correct mistakes, to learn from mistakes. Such efforts are being made. It seems that there are good types of posts at present. However, any newcomer can not come here and understand a very good. However, the more time you spend with this forum, the more you can know and understand about the forum. But everyone needs help to keep the forum going.

Not easy daily task to maintain the forum well organize.
Moderators are honored of their dedication to provide their respective areas a wonderful section as much as they can. We as a simple member are eyeing to them whether they are generous, inactive, and whatever.

In my opinion who leads the team reflect to them.
Section without a moderator is definitely a place where spam messages are possible because no one leads.

To be honest with you, I really do my best judgment not to report the short and seems shitty post. Thinking that's what the posters capacity to interact with others using the international language or otherwise they stay on their local forum.
Actually there are short responses without a clear thoughts, post was doubled. I rather choose to dm them as soon as possible to anticipate someone will report or grant them a negative karma. Unpleasant feelings to received negative karma from someone. If they will not change for the second chance, then absolutely I grant.

yes. we must warn them not to make the same mistake. if they don't care about the warning, then we can do another way by giving a negative karma or reporting the account to the admin

As long as global moderators can handle it, it is no problem. Not only on altcoinstalks, even on other crypto forums, global moderators can handle spam cases on no-moderators sections. But it can be a problem if many global moderators are not active for some days, or rarely log in to the forum. Then, who will handle the cases? Well, the best option is indeed to have a moderator on the section, especially on the section that most forum members spend their time posting there. Anyway, what section do you mean, mate?

Global moderators are also humans they have another responsibility beside Altcoinstalks. Good to be true, I assume they can manage the forum without moderator despite of their hectic schedules. But I believe having a representative to moderate the discussion shorten the wide possibility of spam messages.

If they can't, Well, I think it's our turn to help them clean the area. Pursue cleanliness.

All of us are human, no one can do everything, no one has no mistakes. But once someone has decided to apply for specific work and is accepted. Then he must be responsible for it as he wants it. As a global moderator, it is a duty to log in and check the forum regularly.

Sure. That's why it is better to have a moderator on busy sections, especially discussion boards. Most people in this forum spend their time mostly in those sections, so a chance for spams should be higher there.

We only can report them, cannot delete the spam posts. If the problem like what I stated before, so admin and president to execute the reports. Is it possible? I think it will make admin and president have over-jobs.

We believe this forum is unique and we can guarantee the future success. Given the fact, normally, spammers are beginners(not all). They really need our kindness if there is. Haha. But we must give them deeper understanding to guide into the right path. So, moderators is a must to log in and check the forum regularly as agreement of being the chosen one to direct and lead the forum.

Theoretically I agree. However the cryptocurrency ecosystem has a lot of boards, and it seems that without the individual interest from global mods in the variety of projects there, a lot of spam does go unnoticed there from past memories. Ideally there would be more local mods for the individual boards, who are interested & engaged with the board they are moderating, but so far this hasn't been the case it seems. They are also less popular however, so less of a target for spammers it seems.
