Can the government destroy bitcoin?

Well, China banned cryptocurrencies and that hasn't stopped anyone there, so I doubt it will have much of an effect anywhere else.

No way.
Bitcoin is a decentralized virtual currency and it's it's own central bank devoid of any external control.
So government is  incapable of destroying Bitcoin.....no matter how you want to look at it.

- Bann and not legalize the crypto in their country
- making more negative issues in the media of the crypto so that it will influence the investors.

from those ways, however, i don't think that it will destroy the crypto. It will only just decrease the involvement, but not destroying hopefully.

I think the government will not be able to completely destroy Bitcoin, throughout the world. because not all countries prohibit bitcoin, there are some who accept it very well. and this will show that bitcoin is supported by several countries in the world.

That's correct there is no government that has the power to destroy Bitcoin and the only thing that they can do
is to ban Bitcoin usage and trade on their country and prevent their citizens from using this coin. But even if
they do this kind of method there will still be countries that will accept and legalize Bitcoin just like Japan.

I think but news of government investigations can move cryptocurrency prices for another reason: they ignite fears that big governments are out there to destroy cryptocurrencies.

We all say that Bitcoin is decentralized in nature which means that no government is able to control the transactions made through Bitcoin but according to me government can destroy bitcoin.If governments of all countries declared it as illegal in their respective countries then we will have no way to use Bitcoin.I mean we will be able to work with Bitcoin but as we all know Bitcoin has no physical form ,we have to convert it in our respective currencies to use it.If government will ban it then we will have no way to convert it in our particular currencies.So we will not be able to use it.Due to this people will slowly stop using it and Bitcoin will come to it's end.But I don't think this will happen because governments are intelligent enough to understand it's potential and they know that Bitcoin can be an asset to their economy so they will not ban it.

 the existence of bitcoin in a certain countries it's impossible and difficult to government of that country   destroy bitcoin movement,but what's the reason if they imposed ban? it's declared illegal? but in what's ways they can ban the circulation of bitcoin because it has no physical form? bitcoin is online currency so government  can't stop it
