What you mentioned is related to holding, not short-term trading. I don't hate ETC, but I no longer believe in its potential because it has a big competitor - ETHW, which means I won't choose ETC for my long-term investment portfolio.

On the contrary, for a trader, if he sees an intraday trading opportunity from ETC price chart, he can participate to earn profits. In 2022 & 2023, many traders also profited from ETC as the price recovered from $15 to $40.
