Hold without proper understanding what it is all about is dangerous because once you hold the wrong tokens it is a problem. Once you bought the shit coins it will shut your money down and gain nothing. I don't think it is advisable for any one to just sell what they hold because they don't understand the market, holding a coin or token has both positive and negative impact, sometimes you hold and end up being happy because the coin did great and price went up alot while other times it is the opposite,
If you are holding a good project, don't hurry to sell because price is down that will be a wrong idea.
