I think you are right mate, bitcoin is the reason crypto currency is known all over the world..You can ask several people at your country, they know  about bitcoin but don't know about altcoins.I have asked several friends about it. They have read bitcoin news but not altcoins news.

I agree with you because bitcoin is very popular coin.It has growth all over the world.A man who knows what is cryptocurrency but he is of course know what is bitcoin. bitcoin popularity increased day by day. Bitcoin is considered as the king of all the coins and the main Crypto coin which can easily demolish any coin by just changing its price. Pumping BTC price means the whole market will be pumped up.

my experience of getting into bitcoin is also almost same like you. I was working in multiple micro earning sites. jobs platforms and doing blogging and SEO etc. and then one day a friend told me about Bitcointalk and Faucets. I started from there and never looked back.
