I also sgree with you on this. Many new traders fall in greediness and enter into the market while it is already up. I also made the same mistake when i was new and lost much money.
But for long term investors this is not true.

Agreed, It's very possible to still squeeze profit out of the current bull run even though most of the coin have pumped real hard, e.g you bought Ethereum at $1000 we all knew it was going to break the previous ATH but one thing no one knew was when it was going to happen, so right now it has broken the ATH you will probably be in profit if you invested in it when was at $1000.

I believe this is still not the top most alts in top 100 in CMC are already pump hard but Im sure alts are just starting this bull run is still in early phase its just a pre-bull run IMHO when altseason comes every alts even shitcoin will definitely pump hard so hodl your alts and buy more.

Of course,I agree  in the falling market, don't buy coin. I have lost alot at there. For now, I will buy coin when the market is starting to pump. I think That's the right time to buy more. Because we will see the good progress.

It not a completely bad idea to invest while the market  up (green market), but it most advicable to put a stop lost when the prices are going up especially when you inexperienced traders/investors, and whether BTC or altcoins. Trading and investment depend on individuals skill and strategy. There are some traders that will buy with certain percentage rise to exist the market at a little price change. The day traders are good example.
In a nutshell, every individuals has their different market strategy whether during when prices are  up or down.
