I think 2021 will be the year that the entire crypto community will undergo major changes under Bitcoin's lead:
+ Price uptrend will continue;
+ BTC will continuously create new ATH from huge buying pressure;
+ Some DeFi projects will returne to a stable state with low profits & provide basic services such as lending, escrow, investment...;
+ Some DeFi projects will collapse or be acquired by other projects;
+ Blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, TRON continue to show real strength with new updates;
+ Users start to experience the value of a decentralized economy;
+ CBDC wave spread all over the world;
+ Anonymous coins will have difficulty with exchanges and countries;
+ Coinmarketcap will see a change when many projects disappear because development is ineffective;
+ Governments will be forced to issue legal frameworks for crypto to serve the community;
+ Large projects will quickly develop publicly, especially blockchain projects for businesses;

it is true that altcoins will increase and there will be new ATH for most of the altcoins, especially for the top ranking, but the increase is also due to the pull of bitcoin which will still be successful in the next year even bitcoin will create renewable ATH as well.

January may be alt season
