I think the best way to avoid an had i know situation is to ensuure that as traders we sell at the right time; and also sell in profit. Selling at loss is one of those feelings that cause self blame and makes traders doubt their ability.

The best way to avoid such situation is 1. setting stop loss, 2. doing your research, 3. selling while in profit. 4. Overcoming greed.
