I think we're forced to hold some bounty tokens. This is because some bounty tokens are never listed on the exchange and some tokens are so low in value that the transaction fee is even higher. So is there any other way but to hold such token?
Until the beginning of 2018, most participants in such forums always advised to keep tokens for a long time,
received by us as a result of participation in bounty companies. After the cryptocurrency market crashed in mid-2018 and tokens depreciated by 90-95, and sometimes 99 percent, and most of them have not recovered in value to date, there is no such call. At the same time, it is also not worth selling the received tokens immediately, some of them can rise in price very high. Therefore, general advice is inappropriate here. We must ourselves analyze the situation with projects and their prospects for development and make decisions ourselves.

Unfortunately, you are correct. Most of the projects, the tokens of which are still holds on wallets, have long been abandoned. There is no hope for an increase in value, and it makes no sense to get rid of them with such commissions.

I will not sell my bounty coins based on market conditions.  But if I see that the future of coins is very good, then I divide my coins into fifty-fifty and keep the other half and sell the other half.  However, most of the bounty projects after the coin distribution is called market collapse.

I see the whole thing as a learning process. If you've been with us since 2017, most of them are, then you've learned a lot. You have invested a lot of time in bounties, I would say, but when you started investing in real coins then you also found out that it might be more profitable to do proper research about the different coins / tokens, right?
This saves a lot of time in the future if the crypto world is yours. That's why I can afford to be much more present here recently than I used to be.
Invest the time properly.

I agree that each project is unique and it is impossible to say with 100% certainty what to do, sell or hold.

It's nice to see how coins that have been stored in the wallet for several years begin to grow. It seems that now the alt season is underway, so I think we need to have time to sell those coins that have grown a lot and go to stablecoins before it ends. After that, you can safely wait for the crypto winter and a deep fall in prices to buy again

It's too early to sell, I think the alts will still rise normally, while bitcoin is growing, the alts are also growing.

The profit of course needs to be fixed just in case the market starts to fall. As for the crypto winter, if it starts this year, how long did the market go to this growth that would collapse in such a short period of time.

@Zezari it is logical that sooner or later the market (or part of it) receives corrections, that is not bad. We know how it will be, but what we cannot know is when, and less considering the current market situation, which looks like a volcano. And I don't think those corrections are going to come anytime soon either, there's too much institutional money going into global capitalization right now. Now we must enjoy and benefit from this moment.

It depends on what kind of altcoins we are talking about. Those that are now at their peak, of course, need to be kept to the end. And those from which there is an overflow into more serious ones, I think, should be sold as long as the price for them is adequate.

I started participating in bounties in early 2018, as long as I was hunting for prizes, I got a lot of benefits, because in 2018 many bounties were registered for me to work on. but some of the coins I got I sold out of necessity, some I sold and then I bought into ethereum coins, and many of the coins that died so far are not tradable. I have so much joy and sorrow in this bounty hunt from gaining knowledge, new friends, and some of the fraudulent projects I left behind.

Only the priceless tokens I still hold, and the tokens are not listed on any market.  For tokens that have a price even though they are small, I have sold them, but I have not sold some of them of small value because most of the tokens I hold are ERC-20 based.  I didn't sell it because the cost of ETH gas was very expensive.

It's unfortunate that most of us have sold out our bounty reward due to what most of us experienced in the past from that 2018 downward, for me I lost alot of my Cryptocurrency reward I got from bounty because I decided to hold some of the coins and token that I received from participating in bounty campaign due to the project owners aboundoned the projects halfway.
