Since Dogecoin is not as limited in amount of coins ( i think it's even infinite supply), it's unlikely.
At some point, mining it is just so extremely more profitable compared to other crypto that the price would go down.
Miners usually don't hold for long since they have to cover costs etc.

Crypto mining is only profitable when you have some good and free source of electricity and For Dogecoin, you can mine it on a CPU but again the cost of electricity is more than the profit you earn.

Nothing is impossible in cryptocurrency market. Dogecoin has ability to reached $1. But now the journey of Dogecoin to reached $1 is too hard.  It increasing it’s price very slowly. But it’s popularity growing up regularly.  So I hope Dogecoin will reached $1  in the last of this year.
