Marketcap of Bitcoin $1.07T where gold marketcap is $11.10T. That means 11x higher than Bitcoin. So, to surpass Gold marketcap, Bitcoin price will have to cross $650k per BTC. Even if this happens and bitcoin surpasses gold in terms of capitalization, it still does not mean anything. Good analysis, gold market cap  $11.32 T , I think it is too far ,if we compare to bitcoin market only $1.16T now
It will take several years, maybe long years.
But I think bitcoin has potential to be but not for the next few years.

If we believe that Gold's price is not stable as in, its price increase day by day because of its increasing demand then I truly don't know what to say for Bitcoins price, it must be skyrocketing out of hand according to this chat.
