Eth hold or Trade?

Honestly, for now I prefer BNB, XRP, and SOL over ethereum.
because ethereum doesn't look good in the last two years, that's why I don't hold much ethereum, just a little. because I prefer other altcoins that I think have higher potential, BNB, XRP, and SOL

Those are good altcoins, I also assume they have big chance to skyrocket if we have altcoins season. ETH seems very difficult to cross $2k but I think it will be soon above $2k. You can see the highest price of ETH today is around $1,87k. It is almost reaching $1,9k. I think it will be above $2k in a short time when it crosses $1,9k. Honestly, I still invest in ETH although I also invest in BNB, SOL, and XRP as well.

ETHBTC is drifting south and grinding lower every day.
I cannot see any possible reason to revert the situation to a more constructive one in the near future.

As long as what you are going to do is what you think is best, I think you have the right to do it with full confidence, because now, I think holding or trading will be equally good if done with good analysis.

It is perfectly okay to use ETH to invest in these hot projects. It’s been used for years now and sometimes can be useful when you get the right traffic. However, if you look at ETH within the context of the rest of the ecosystem I think that’s even more impactful. If you are only counting points you can earn from the projects you are participating in, you are gambling on something you cannot influence. It is important to note that ideas can get killed off, rules shift as far as goal-setting is concerned and rewards may underachieve. However, if you are convinced that ETH is going to be among the staple components of the new economy, you will have that much more hard evidence to put your money on when the stoke of the ‘new economy’ disappears.

if I do not participate in the retroactive project, I only buy Ethereum for investment. My collection of top coins is still stored in my wallet because I am waiting for Bitcoin to reach its ATH.

Your decision to stick with Ethereum as your main asset is a sign of having own strategy and trusting the market. The wait until Bitcoin hits the ATH is one of the most conservative approaches that still might be quite lucrative in the long run and I do believe that expectations have to be proportionate here as well. From an analysis of their market value, Ethereum has grounded realities but still, their movement in the market is sometimes caused by sentiments rather than the real value. On this aspect, as long as you do not get overrun by unnecessary volatility and closely believe in what you hold, then you are on the right path. But do not forget also that you should be prepared for some bending in some circumstances if the market tells you something different from what you expected to see.
