I think it will be amazing, because most houses now use solar panels for power these days and it will be beneficial to the society as a whole, generators produce smoke that contains a carbon that is harmful to us and also it requires fuel, so I think people will consider all those factors...

solar panels are cheap these days especially that China is massively producing these panels. i'm wonder though what OP would do with the energy. iff this is for mining BTC or altcoins, then he gonna need a lot more than just to power a house.

i have this plan once upon a time but i would need to buy a land just near a shoreline to guarantee wind can turn a turbine that can generate a lot of energy to run 10 GPU plus a house. not sure if i am ready to move to such place.

To want to build solar panels an compete against China in making them is quite a challenge. I suppose you could make a higher end panel that has more power per panel and is clean when recycled. But a 400 watt china  vs a 550 watt your country will not always sell well. you need careful study.  Good luck.  Note I quote the post above because he mentions China competition

This post was made some years ago, and at that time, I'm very sure that solar panels were not so common or so much in supply as they are currently and someone would have probably made a lot of money investing in their production. The investment in solar panels right now would be that you install them either at your home or office so that you can be off grid from the general electricity supply from the government and save yourself the electricity bills that you pay.

I agree that you need to conduct first a feasibility study of the business that you want to and why would you invest in solar. Solar panel investment is good and can lower your cost of electricity but the cost of it is high you need first to know the pros and cons in your business if you want to invest in solar panels and not waste your money.

if you have the money then i say go for it it is extremely expensive but once you have it you can reduce or totally eradicate electricity bills that is one of the advantages of solar panels aside from obviously being able to use renewable resources and not contributing to the constant consumption of nonrenewable ones

altho ofc it still has it disadvantages depending on your location sunlight is very much needed for it to function at its best and you might not be able to do tasks properly if it is raining or cloudy

I am agree with you. Now a day solar panels is most important and affordable. Electricity is extremely expensive on the other hand solar panels creat Electricity which comes from sunlight and there has no production cost. Only need Panel production cost which need only one time.

So i also think invest in solar panels will be very profitable. And if anyone invest on solar panels he will gat profit for long time. And naw a days solar panels being popular. Although it is costly but i think invest in solar panels will be very profitable there has no doubt.

Last time I checked you still need to consider maintenance cost and the cost to build one in general. Beside, how will you make it profitable? Selling your electricity to the government or are you talking about trading solar panels materials? In my country, solar panel is still rare. Maybe you can find them on big cities but even if that's true most of the time they're secondary choice to power-up stuff like street light, etc. It's been 3 years and the cost to acquire one is definitely cheaper, but I'd encourage people to buy solar panels if what they want is instant profit from trading solar panels because the market is still small here. CMIIW.

But you have to also count the challenges like  Geographic place , if you are living on a region where is less sunlight then  intermittent rain , snow or the cloud can be a danger for your start up. So make more analysis then select those idea which can be cost-effective and as well as your Geographic place friendly.
