I think it is not possible now or this year . Probably It will take to few years  or it will still maintain third place .I think Bitcoin cash is the competitor of ripple.

I don't think it'll drop yet I genuinely trust it will. Swell conflicts with the whole purpose of blockchain tech and nullifies the point of decentralization. Over that the dev group claims over portion of the swell tokens, which implies the moment they choose to tank swell and exit with billions of dollars every other person is screwed. Not so much any security there.

Ripple is going well condition , next two years ripple maintain the 3rd position on market place then ripple will go down  4th or 5th position because Bitcoin cash or eos will go forward to 3rd position.
