Can we say bounty is an investment?

Bounty is the way to make money, but I am not sure it is a kind of investments. We don't invest in coins/tokens here. People just do tasks and earning coins/tokens. I think it cannot be concluded as a way to invest in cryptocurrency.

Indeed, the bounty is another form of investment where people can invest their time, energy and knowledge in order to earn tokens. During the ICO, investors use money to buy tokens while bounty hunters use their time, energy and knowledge to get tokens as well.

Yes, ICO and bounty are different types of investments, but they both are investments. And they mutually beneficial for project team and participiens-investors. It is just sad that with each ICO, allocation for bounty becomes smaller and smaller...

No, participants in ICO bounty campaigns cannot be considered investors in ICO projects. There is a definition of the concept of an investor. It is always a person who invests his money in something. Therefore, the expenditure of our efforts and time can not be considered an investment. Investors may be audited by KYC, and participants in ICO bounty campaigns, since they are not investors and clients of the ICO team, should not do this.

yes you should see bounty as an investment because you put in your time and the little resources that you have to help promote a project in exchange of their token or assets

We really have different views. I checked the other replies and looks like people who are saying it's an investment and not are divided equally. But I see it as an investment. Investment does not involve only of buying or purchasing using money. It can be through hard work and time. Though the online dictionary defines investment as "the action or process of investing money for profit or material result" but I think that's only a basic definition.

I think bounties can be an investment, when tokens are hodled, but otherwise I prefer to sell them for Etheruem or Bitcoin in order to invest in projects I believe are a lot more established and stable as investments. In the bull market, then keeping bounties as an investment until the market goes parabolic is notably more profitable however.

I don't suppose bounty is an investment. It's just the reward for your contribution to a specific campaign. As far as I'm concerned, investment always goes with risk. Or as someone in this thread said, bounty is an investment of labor. It's true, but my efforts in doing bounty is minor and the risk of losing those efforts is minor too.

I think Bounty is a job, which can produce coins.  This is not free, because working on a bounty also requires time, energy and thought.  If I say investment, I also agree, because what we do can make money.

I think it can. Because I make an investment here it starts doing gifts. I can directly invest in a gift. So the gift is part of the investment.

So with your explanation, the investment is on the rewards but not on the bounty. I actually agree with you, the bounty is not the investment. However, the rewards are on their tokens/coins, those coins/tokens are the investment.
