Just recently discovered we have a board that lists any phishing links for services affiliated with the Altcointalk forum and Coinomize is a victim from those links. Have you considered a campaign that stops phishing by reporting to have them closed down.

You can actually drop the site and link to the board because this forum is one heck of a place as it's very vast and not easy to navigate all the board although the admin should even consider scraping some of the board as they are closely related. As for the issue of starting a anti phishing link campaign, I believe one of the brand in Bitcoin actually did and it was a huge success too as users were actively involved and reported almost all site targeted at painting a negative image or even moreso scam customer.

Whatever the situation may be over there can be handle by the Coinomize biz team at the right time, for now, the full activities of the campaign is going smoothly. I honestly don't think they differentiate mixers into a group of "good guys" and "bad guys" like that. Based on some articles that they published (the US at least), it's clear they consider a mixer or any privacy tools legal, but the government must have access to the data, or they'll call it illegal, and so on. Obviously, a business will get more scrutiny if it processes a high volume of hacked funds. More marketing definitely increases the chances that bad actors will abuse the service for what they need, so the dev must be careful with that. CMIIW.

Great initiative and this is surely going to be an interesting contest. The price money is very attractive and it is a good incentive to participate in the contest, thank you Coinomize for organizing this and for always looking for innovative ways to give back to the forum and community.

Yeah they really brought a achievable goal for other users which ain’t participating in campaign to earn some money for themselves and also some users who are in campaign can also participate too.
The price award are very reasonable and I guess yesterday was the closing day for the contest and it was so unfortunate I couldn’t get to participate I guess will wait for new contest form the team so I can be a part of it. i saw the entries and they were all really creative and looked exciting i love how aside from the logos, there also have been showing of coinimize’s stats and history which really promotes the platform really well even if it is for a few seconds only

That's true. Which is why a mixer or any privacy tools won't do anything like that unless the situation is extreme. Even bigger companies usually don't comply with the demand for data decryption since it affects their reputation on the market. I remember we have cases like that in the few years or so with Apple or Samsung being scrutinized by the government.

I don't think the government should be allowed to do anything they want to either. Sometimes they don't know anything about things they wanted to regulate and the long-lasting impact of their regulations. We have many cases where a government fails due to corruption etc too.

Doing you know that doing an anti-Phishing campaign does not have anything to do with the way this forum is organized. I know that most people are already used to the pattern and ways of navigating on Bitcointalk and I don't think Altcoinstalks has to be in the same pattern.
 Every community has their own style of during things so it doesn't look like the Altcoinstalks admin is actually copying Bitcointalk pattern which is a turnoff for many people. Many of us like the way this community is being organized and you will have to get aquatinted to it rather than trying to give opinion that is cool for you but not for everyone.

I really wanted to participate in the contest but I don't know how to create the require entry needed so I just let it slide, I actually thought they would bring something like the art contest last time but I guess they decided to go with a different approach or maybe still the art contest will still brought back by the team but in all good luck and success to everyone who is participating there.

But due to my understanding maybe there are other users you actually let that art contest slide by cause they don’t know how to Create the requirements so I guess this might be the opportunity for them also just as you participated last contest so everyone is benefiting one way or the other. Bringing different style and different aspect of contest is really not a bad idea cause some might participate in the new contest while some might also participate in the other so if one can’t do one he can try the other.
The idea of changing contest is really a positive idea and it very interesting, I didn’t participate but others that participate are very happy and many did a perfect job and I hope the team likes it and keep bringing more and more contest for the forum users.
