Reading this from the perspective that you could get entertainment and education outside of gambling, this sounds like trying too hard to justify someone's gambling habits. No offense.

Yes, it basically reminds me of doctors when assessing the benefits and risks of treatment. In this case the risks of gambling far outweigh the benefits of entertainment value. Since I've been at this for a long time, I wouldn't be surprised to see the OP open a thread in the future about losing a lot more money than he set out to do. If he had at least made a distinction and separated sports betting and poker from the rest of gambling, as the other fellow said, it would be a different story.

I don't know why you quote me if what you are going to say has little to do with what I say. What I am saying is that gambling has a lot more potentially negative than positive and not the relativism you express that there are good and bad things apparently equally. And the story that thanks to God and gambling your family was able to eat sounds to me like a total fabrication.

Alcohol in small dosage wont do much harm to anyone, but not if you get addicted and it is like that for gambling.
If regulators want to ban and limit gambling for certain age groups why are they enabling state sponsored lotteries, sport predictions and stuff like that.

I disagree with you, truth be told some people view gambling as a source of excitement and relaxation. They see gambling not as a money-making venture but just to show their level of support for a particular team. For instance, Drake and E-money fall under this category. First, what is your understanding about rationality or what connotes rational thinking? People involve in gambling for different reasons and this reason is rational to the individual and that is to say, what constitutes rational thinking has no general application. Some people who gamble for fun and entertainment is not concerned about the loss. Thus, would you describe them as irrational? To me, no since people hold different opinions about gambling.

Can you see the meaning of gambling here? What is gambling and also What is game We are combining and using the two terms as one but they have different meaning. As I said earlier gambling is synonymous with betting in which each of the players would present money or some valuable objects or something to play against their opponents for hope of winning them and take the thing from the loser's hand. And that is not game. In game you play for fun and for leisure. In game the competition is not for money but for fun. It is to know who can play well. They are good with numbers too. I've noticed that those people who are into gambling can easily calculate numbers because they are always involved in it because of their winnings or bets. I am not good at numbers, mostly when it comes to calculations but they can add them up quickly. Also entertainment as it brought fun to us, but there are more negative aspects of gambling than positive ones, but the important thing is that we have fun while at the same time we can control ourselves.

I prefer gambling because I can earn money from it. But I suffered a lot of losses when I got addicted to gambling in new times. Because I was not experienced in gambling, I lost a lot of money, but now I have gained a small amount of experience. Now I love gambling but not addicted because I gamble only a few days a week and take rest days off. If you adopt these strategies, you can definitely get some benefits in gambling.
