What risk have you taken in the course of you gambling and how was the outcome of the risk you took.

I am not a gambler that is one thing I can honestly say to anyone. I can be an addict with coffee, milk and sometimes soda but not gambling though I occasionally - very rare actually - bet on lotto just for fun and for that illusionary chance to win millions. But there is one experience that I could never forget when I was then younger...and it involved cockfighting. Here in my country, many people most especially boys and men are big fans of cockfighting. I understand that there is a big adrenaline rush in this "chicken" game and of course money can be made for the victors. Personally, I do not like the idea of two chickens fighting for their lives just to entertain people but I don't actually care on what others prefer. One time, my friend told me to come with his other friends as they would be going to a cockfight arena and make a bet...he told me then that I might have a beginner's luck since it was my first time to ever go inside such a place. Alas, my bet lost and I left home dejected with what happened so I promised to myself never to return to such a place. I therefore conclude that I do not have a taste for gambling as I am not prepared psychologically to lose money in this way. Sadly so many people are wasting their lives and money on gambling to the point of ruining their own reputation and family in the process. With the surging popularity of online gambling - now using apps - am sure more and more people would be victims of this social  malady.

Gambling is always risky, but gambling becomes more risky when gambling with large amounts of money. I took such a risk but the result went against me. When I took the maximum risk and the results went against me, my opinion has changed a bit that one should never gamble so much money at once. If I had bet some money on different teams without betting my whole money, maybe some results would have gone in my favor but I bet my whole money on any team and it went against me. But since then I've realized the amount of money I lost that makes me more likely to win than lose.

This happened several years ago I was tempted to bet my two months' salary on a boxing match this is the Pacquiao - Dela Hoya match, and my co-worker challenged me that Dela Hoya would win the match, I am a big Pacquiao so I committed my two months salary and we all know what happened Pacquiao beat Dela Hoya convincingly, but I just can't imagine if I lose I cannot pay all our bills and we'll have our water and electricity cut off, its one of the riskiest bet I've taken then

Wow, that is a big risk, thank God you were able to win, because it is difficult to have your services cut off and only for a bet, well it is not good either, that, of course, we are people who are always looking for the best osble to make, however when they put us at this point with a bet of this wow style, although to be honest I would have also bet in favor of Pacquiao, the thing is that he always managed a super spectacular style, but an exquisite boxing technique, the bad guys make you do crazy things sometimes, it would have been horrible if you were lost.

I think that at this point, in my case, I would not make bets like that, because it is very difficult, the fact of not paying for those services is hard, being without electricity is too difficult, well without electricity and without water, it is the worst , I have never made bets like that, but I can only imagine the adrenaline rush you must have felt.

As a gambler, there are lots of experience that comes while gambling, some are very much funny though while some come with high risk. In as much as they are, we have had the experience and as such engaged with it in one form or the other.

I personally have not had that much risk because I plan my budget but I can remember back then in 2007 when I had to save my launch and transport money to school to gamble for  UEFA finals and it paid off because I won my bet back then and that was my first win back then.

I have not made any big bets in gambling. But I once gambled through coin games on a small gambling side. And I almost lost $100. Since then I no longer had the courage to engage myself in this work. I found it very disappointing. At that time I wanted to buy a mobile phone by increasing the profit but to my surprise I was completely lost. I am very disappointed by this.

I used the money that was supposedly for investing in gambling.

I know, I know I'm stupid for doing that one, but that was the time when I was still learning how to control myself whenever I was gambling. What I mean by how to control myself is that I'm trying to don't over-gamble, and don't get those losses of mine if I lose all of my money. Well, I lost that money at that time. It wasn't that huge, but at least after that loss, I learned how not to gamble anymore whenever I lost all of my capital.

It was the group stage of the FIFA worldcup and that was my introduction to betting in football. I cannot remember the exact amount but I know it was more than what I could afford to lose. Well first of all gambling is one crazy habit and not everyone can control themselves so for other they actually watch the risk they take and while others that have the funds available to play go out very wild and partake in crazy risks that even themselves end up regretting. for me I think the risk I have taken in gambling would be class as the crazy ones but all these was when I still believe that I can actually force myself to win.

So sorry about your experience. It is sometimes like that. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This is the reason why one is advised to gamble responsibly and with funds one can afford to lose. In your case, you gamble with expectations of winning to buy phone with the little money you already saved to buy phone.  We should always keep it in mind that whenever we want to gamble, we should gamble for fun and not to earn and I believe that was you thought which did not go down well with you. I believe that was a big lesson you learnt and would never forget in a haste.

What a sad experience for me!

I sold my laptop, used the money to pay for a fixed match and then lost the game. I felt disappointed in myself for being so irrational at that time.
