The SEC will continue to press looking for weak points, such as the hacking of some of Chris Larsen's wallets. That point is crucial, since the SEC can argue about the little or no security (something we know is not true) of Ripple's products, thus finding a loophole to continue searching. I think now is when Ripple will have to expose and demonstrate that its products have the necessary technology and security to protect users' privacy and funds.

About the SEC and the court case. I believe that the situation will be resolved if XRP is as transparent as possible + if they cooperate. It can't be any other way. Or SEC will not leave them alone. Not much of a choice.

What if the SEC and Ripple made a deal? For some reason I keep thinking that a deal was made for Ripple Labs to burn all XRP in escrow.

Such deals can actually be done by large institutional investors. Repool Coin has the largest number of investors due to which such contracts are not possible on this platform. Here the holders will face the biggest loss, not all the holders have invested the same amount so the XRP company will not sign the contract to the detriment of the holders. This type of deal is a nightmare, so I don't think it will be accepted.

Yes, indeed in 2020 or 2021 Ripple had tensions with the SEC due to several SEC accusations against Ripple, regarding privacy coins or not, and several other things related to regulations. And this has been going on for years. However, it is true that Ripple has won this lawsuit, it just seems that the SEC is still not satisfied and is still continuing. That's why when Trump wanted to replace Gensler during the campaign, crypto activists were very excited about this because the SEC seemed very strict and complicated under his leadership.

now this definitely puts some pressure on sec's way of dealing with crypto if anyone was still hesitant about the changing environment in sec then this might be the final sign that sec might change their approach to crypto and make a difference from the precious administration i wonder how this could affect the lawsuit sec is still trying to push against xrp it might not be continued anymore since there is a bigger lawsuit they have to worry about so we might see xrp improve more

I agree with you that some changes that are currently happening at the SEC can significantly affect the further evolution of cryptocurrencies regulation. The market has feared that the commission has been reluctant, specifically to assets like Ripple’s XRP. New individuals coming to power may be the best thing that could happen to the crypto industry as most of the problems are due to policy decisions made in the past. Based on the current events, it becomes quite plausible that the SEC takes its gaze on principally different issues and concerns, or maybe the litigation against XRP could pause or cease altogether. If the SEC shift towards the more friendly approach towards crypto innovation then it can provide more confidence to the investors of XRP and other crypto assets.

we'll just have to see later, whether the SEC will sue XRP again after XRP has experienced a tremendous increase. Or after Trump became president, the SEC management changed in responding to crypto, because in his campaign, Trump once said that he would replace the CEO of the SEC if he won the presidential election because it was considered to be hampering crypto.
