Just like I expected, Nigeria vs Ivory Coast are in the final of AFCON and I am betting on host as underdogs to take the trophy.
They made so many changes during this competition, they even changed the coach, but with support of supporters in full stadium I think they can win.
Maybe it is going to be in extra time or penalties, but Ivory Coast it is for me.

The host nations are always the favourites to win the trophy once they reach the finals. Home advantage and favouritism, but with the help of VAR, all might change for the better. Both teams deserve it. Both have fought to get to the finals. It has been moments of suspense and sweat for both teams. No doubt, Nigeria have been superb in the tournament and Ivory Coast were lucky to have advanced as best losers but we have seen improvement in their games afterwards. Even though I am rooting for Nigeria to win, I cannot pay deaf ears to the reality of football; anything can happen. Remember, the race is not for the swift...but time and chance happened to them all. The team who is on form on Sunday 11, 2023 will likely emerge as the winner. All I can say is GO Naija!

If the  percentage of people living in poverty in that country is over 40% then I think It would be very difficult for them to afford the ticket to watch the finals. Possibly, the government might decide to subsidise the fee for the so that the stadium could be field with people who want to watch the match.

I could remember when a particular state government inu state gave free tickets to anyone interested in watching a friendly match between Nigeria and a particular country then. The stadium was filled with supporters of the super eagles and the good cheers was very loud and ii t ended joyfully as they super eagles won the friendly match. What am I trying to say, if the country can afford to issue out free ticket, it is a good idea for them because their support base would be very strong and the stadium would be filled with supporters.

I am looking match reports now and last match Ivory Coast palyed against DR Congo there was over 51000 people in stadium.
Against Mali there was around 40000, against Senegal 20000, and when they played and lost from Nigeria there was 50000 people.
I am sure this time stadium will be full, and I have to give credits to new coach who took over Ivory Coast in the middle of competition.
Under 2.5 is best safe bet for me.

History of AFCON finals usually dont have many goals, last time it was 0-0 between Egypt and Senegal, in 2019 it was 1-0,
and H2H matches between Nigeria and Ivory Coast have a lot of low scoring matches.
Maybe both can score, but in extra time or in penalties

We deserve it no doubt but football sometimes can be very heartbreaking because they are lots of similar senerio which I have seen that the deserve and most decorated team in the tournament lose out the trophy to the opposite team. The only thing am sure of that will take place in tomorrow games is that the ivorians won't like to lose another match up between Nigeria so easily so am certain the faith of the winner might be decided by a penalty shoot out which everyone knows is a game of luck and I do hope Nigeria gets the better side again.

Not a bad one. Judging from the fact that the super eagles have been scoring in all matches in the competition, and have also been restricting teams from finding the back of the net with 2 goals conceded out of 6 matches. The elephants on the other hand, have conceded 4 times, scored 4 times out of the 6 games and have scored in their last 3 games in the knock out round. So over 1.5 and GG look very likely. However, I'd go for under 2.5.

The match is live now and very thrilling but I think the way it is going, the referee is bias.
Econg  just scored a goal through heading from a corner kick against the Cote D'Ivoire. So far now Super Eagles are leading with 1 goal to nil.
