Exactly, that is the weakness of those who are new to cryptocurrency trading. They need a lot of experience from before. Trading is not just about making a profit by taking advantage of the movements that occur in the exchange place. Trading requires knowledge and various methods obtained from the results of experiments by trying to implement several methods that are already available in various information media that we can read. One analysis will not be enough to make a decision. We must compare various analyzes that can occur in the exchange place.
Experience is always needed in investing, not only when trading. because medium and long term holding also requires experience to choose the right coins. While the analysis used in trading that I use is only technical and fundamental analysis. and always read the latest news to be able to predict the movement of the coins I choose.
Right, knowledge about trading is really needed therefore we must keep learning and trying new things. Trading requires a lot of trials and must dare to take action. as far as I know It is not easy to become a professional trader.
A professional trader is also certain to have experienced losses first and, from the losses obtained, then he will not repeat them again and that is a very good lesson. Indeed, you must learn from short trading first so that you can deepen it without any losses that ultimately lead to prolonged disappointment., Agree, everyone must start immediately and do not hesitate so that with the addition of time you can analyze each step that will be taken properly.

Nowadays, I don't think investors are so interested in investing in projects because of the white paper they have gone through. Currently, the mindset of all that has changed; investors are not moved by that any longer. They are easily moved by the hyped given to projects on social media. That's why, there's a high rise of scams in the crypto space because of the way investors are after projects that promises quick profits.
honestly this applies to pretty much everything nowadays especially on social media

people are much more gullible and vulnerable to misinformation that they only follow the mass without checking actual sources for it their logic is that if there are enough people who believe in a project's purpose then it must be a good project people seem to have lost the ability to make decisions themselves and not just follow the majority blindly

Hmmmm... that is right new traders in  cryptocurrency market mostly lack necessary experience and knowledge to succeed. Trading is not just about making quick profit but it requires deep understanding of market and various trading strategies. Relying on single analysis or method is not enough traders should stay informed and adapt to changing market conditions.

It is good to continuously learn from experiments try to use different methods and compare multiple analyses to make good decisions. Experience and knowledge are key to navigate complexities of cryptocurrency trading and new traders should be aware and patient and with this they
can develop their skills.

Very related, between altcoin and bitcoin, and the way the cryptocurrency ecosystem grows, both need these two elements... altcoin is present as a complement, where when altcoin is not present in the Bitcoin ecosystem it really won't be able to have this much trading volume.. meaning Bitcoin is not as famous as this... the media influence will be a little less interesting because the community is not as big as it is now if altcoin is not present.

I appreciate Bitcoin as an initiator, and I also appreciate altcoin as a successor. With the presence of bitcoin and altcoin, cryptocurrency becomes more adoptable by more people.

This is very bad. I could remember years back, around 2021 and 2022, when the concept of first going through a white paper before investing was invoked. How that advice was let go currently, it's what I don't understand that People are not being focused on the white paper again but rather on hype given on social media or they going by what crypto influencers have to analyze about a coin for them before they invest, making many not interested in doing their own research.

This is terrible. I don't know how we can get this corrected because it has made many lose huge amounts of money just because they follow the hype of social media.

Altcoin does have a good impact on the bitcoin assets that we have so that they grow more and more. But Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies that can provide price movements to all cryptocurrencies on the market. A very strong community and media give power to Bitcoin to be this big.

That's how the uncommon become common these days. Imagine crypto people have this "standards" on how to put their funds on any "major" coins to avoid getting dump overnight yet some hype coins just comes then everything changes.

It's hard to get away from the hype that might happen through social media, and it will affect what we do, but if you understand and already know then like what you said, they will put in the major coins that have been tested and have the potential to be chosen. But now it's relatively rare for new coins to come that give surprises, because the situation hasn't really improved for crypto at this time.

It seems like they realize that "they are investing in something they are willing to take the risk of" and I am a little bit in disbelief, because many people are starting to be careless in making investments, as you said... many are starting to be lazy to read whitepapers, many are starting to be lazy to analyze themselves... they all hope for luck by insisting that the money they keep in their wallet is money they are willing to bear if it is lost... little by little, a person's wisdom begins to erode with this thinking... and causes laziness.

Basically they still hope to get profit, and no one ever hopes that the result of their investment will only be a loss. But many people seem to be starting to misinterpret "only use money you are willing to lose".

We see the price movement of altcoins has not touched the previous figure, so I have not seen any new projects that are good and show extraordinary price increases at this time, or maybe I am lacking in doing research on new projects.

Agree that the market has not improved because altcoins have not been able to follow the movements made by bitcoin in the past few months which have moved up and down quickly, so that the recovery made by altcoins is not perfect. We must wait for bitcoin to move stability, then altcoins will be able to keep up again.
I think you are right that currently there are no surprises from new altcoins that can stand out apart from TON, which made an ATH surprise with BNB. In a market situation like this, not being corrected too deeply is already very good.

Altcoin season has not arrived yet, my friend, that's what makes altcoin unable to follow bitcoin's movement. And don't forget bitcoin also struggled to reach its previous ATH because market conditions are not good at the moment, maybe by the end of this year we will see a better market than today.

Altcoins need Bitcoin and Bitcoin needs altcoins, it's like a hippopotamus with a starling, because a hippopotamus needs a starling to eat the fleas on the hippopotamus' body. Bitcoin is like a hippopotamus and altcoins are starlings, there are times when we have altcoins then we will also take Profit of Bitcoin when it goes up and down or starlings eat fleas from hippos. This reply for OP and this is my opinion.

Re: Bitcoin needs Altcoins as much as Altcoins need Bitcoin
« Reply #209 on: September 06, 2024, 03:46:53 PM »

Market wont really be just that staying on what it is or simply on a single point.and also come to think that Bitcoin could stand alone if we do really talk realistically, it did really just turned out that this market has expanded on the time or moment that other devs do tend to create their own and this is why we do have an altcoin on which it isnt really that also bad on having
these things considering that not all the  time that Bitcoin investment would be solely the one will be existing. There would those people who would really be that creating
another coins on which they could possibly do as much as they do know that this would really be that a trend.
