Of course, I understand what you are trying to point in here. The thing is that cryptocurrency is already here and we can already use it and enjoy it in many ways. Talking about time, everything is actually the present as we can no more relieve the past and the future still remains unknown. In the past many years we talked on the future, that future is NOW. However, it does not mean that crypto will not be into the future as it will continue to exist and even expand globally albeit so many challenges along the way. Into the future, we are expecting a more robust, more inclusive and more mainstream cryptocurrency industry as more and more people will be exposed into it and adopt it in their own ways and capacities. Hopefully, Bitcoin will be leading the expansion even though I would say the concentration will be as a store of value more like the digital gold and whose value will really skyrocket as there can be countries that will include it in their reserve currencies.
