It's not like gambling can make you rich. Gambling depends entirely on luck. Most people never know what is going to happen when gambling. Most of the time people take gambling as entertainment. Making money off of it and getting rich seems ridiculous to me. Gambling is the riskiest way to get rich. It may also happen if you spent all your wealth on gambling and at the end of the day you lost all your money instead of getting rich. How will the matter then? So instead of thinking about getting rich by gambling, you can invest your wealth in different places.

Many gamblers gamble with the hope of getting rich from such gambling, causing them to lose more financially. Gambling results are always unpredictable, it depends on luck, you may have good luck for some time but luck will not always bring you profit. If you win big once or twice, you'll lose more money later on, because gambling is a game where you're more likely to lose than win. Gambling with the goal of getting rich leads a gambler to greater financial losses. So those who want to get rich from gambling change their thinking, it will make you more indebted and poorer than rich.

Yeah, that is the difficult part of gambling, we always though that we are going to win big money. But it's the opposite for the most of us, and sometimes we just really think that we should have not gamble or just sleep that night instead of gambling.

But recently when I gamble on a traditional base casinos, suddenly we hear someone shouting, and it turns out the lady has won the jackpot that night, amounting to close to $1.5 million dollars. We do not expect a gambler to stop gambling just because he has won. Inasmuch as winning requires luck, whether a gambler is fortunate enough to win or not, he must continue gambling. That is a fact. I have seen people gamble when they do not have much money, and if they win, should we expect them to stop? I do not think this is possible.

Yeah for sure it does but what are the odds? Let me say it's 0.0001% of people might achieved that status while everyone ended up on the other side which is far lesser odd than becoming rich by doing other things like selling a candy.

A very fascinating question. Gambling , I don’t think one can get very rich through gamble that a very rare scenario, one can actually make a lot of profit or loss from gambling but getting rich all of a sudden is hard to see . And many gamblers have that mind set that one day they will hit a jackpot but not everybody success is on gambling depends on once luck but it very uncommon for someone to get financial stability on gambling you might made a lot of gain but that stability is very hard catch to grab .

Guy was lucky and this doesn't really bring a change of mentality,  because it's always been known that one can become rich through gambling, but luck must favor you.

There has been constant and unending debate in this forum about the possibility of becoming rich through gambling. I want to rejuvenate the debate by stating clearly that gambling can make someone rich. Someone uploaded his winning ticket on Twitter and this has generated diverse interest regarding gambling. This person staked #200 and won 23 million naira in Bet9ja. If not for gambling, what job can such a person do to get such an amount of money? The luck has fallen on him and if he is wise he can make more money by investing in productive business and not increasing his stake.

High-risk gambling can ruin your life, finances, and relationships. Let it be clear that the level of risk taken does not guarantee success. A gambler may take a high level risk and lose, or vice versa. The reason you can not separate risk from gambling is that in gambling, you have to give something before you can get something.

What you give out (the stake) is certain, but what you expect (the potential win) is not. This is why it is considered a risky game. Thus, a gambler should only take calculated and moderate risks that are within his ability to lose, as is always recommended.
