There are times when you must be tired of moving forward with a dead end in mind, that's the right time to stop looking around (looking for entertainment) and look back (evaluating). You can continue after you actually see the directions (proper knowledge).

In our society today, there are some things we will do won't work as plan, knowing when to quit is an important skill in life.
Knowing when to quit at times do no necessarily mean giving up on your goals, but rather its about finding the balance between persistence and recognizing when something isn't working out for you at all, quitting can actually be a smart move that allows us to redirect our energy towards more fulfilling endeavors that will add to our growth and success instead of struggling over whatwill bring you down. It's important to listen to our instincts and evaluate whether continuing on a certain path aligns with our goals and values, the ability of making a conscious decision to pursue something better and profitable to you is what we need sometimes, you don't just quit if there are no other positions available for you to be successful.

I too have lost money on both investments and sports betting. But you have to be careful and have discilina and learn from your mistakes. I just recently bet on Euro 2024 matches and out of 14 bets I won 9, so it's pretty good, especially that I managed to win a few thousand euros just by betting on Fairspin with a good coefficient and withdrawing money in crypto, which I then invest. So you have to learn everything

We all know that we should not give up and persevere to achieve that goal that we want in life but there are times that we need to learn when to quit. If we feel that what we are doing is dissatisfactory or we tend to be burnt where it is not good anymore when we are unhappy with doing the thing anymore and it affects our mental health when doing that thing prevents us from our growth. Quitting is not a sign of weakness There is a saying that "Sometimes it is better to quit than continue doing something you know won't get you anywhere".
What youve said is true, but you must understand that sometimes what gives us the greatest dissatisfaction are often what has the potential to drive us to our desired destination if we'd only persevered.
But yes, not everything is worth pursuing, not all risks are worth taking, some riskswould lead to nothing but loss and even more losses, such cases requires one to take a pause and take a U-turn and channel that energy somewhere else that's capable of producing more results, somewhere that has more surety and has higher rate of success.
I agree that not all quit and use this dissatisfaction as a potential to achieve something. It's true that perseverance can lead to success but if something is not worth the effort it is better to step down and focus on things that make you grow and develop.

Some people love leaving in a fantasy even when it's clear to them that what they are doing is bad, they will rather continue to deul badly in that situations until either someone with good mind help them or they stay there forever, they don't have the eye and mindset to leave such positions until someone really help them.

There are some situations you will enter that when you don't change, you wouldn't move forward, it's a simple way of life. There wouldn't be changes in life if you don't even change your ways, beside the world changes every day and if you are not ready to adapt to the new system, you will he drop fastly and you will be left behind when others are moving forward.

While that's very true.
Sometimes you'd never discover just how worth it something is until you try and fail and try again, maybe fail again again and again.
It is when we persevere and by also applying resilience that we can really discover the true worth of our endeavours, sometimes it may appear to be not worth our time and effort because we may not actually see their true potential standing/viewing from a particular angle or probably because others also feel the same way and if we don't change our point of view we may never get to see it for its true worth.
Like someone told me some time again, how we perceive something plays a major role in determining the worth of our pursuit. Shifting our angle helps us acknowledge and appreciate what we're working on, facing repeated failure or even criticisms can make it look like it may not really be worth it, but if we can just change our angle, we'd see things for its worth

IN whatever thing we are doing in life, we must be very sensitive towards knowing when to start, pause or quit, we cannot expect to see the positive impact when what we are giving were all negative impressions and non challant attitudes towards what we are doing, we also need to have a perception of things around us in other to know the required step expected from us, only by paying attention in knowing what is next to do

Yes you're right.
But then again, how exactly would you know that something isn't really worth the effort? is it because someone else or majority of the people thinks or believes that it's not really worth the effort or maybe you've tried a couple of times and yet your efforts yielded no much result and then you concluded it's not worth the effort and then decided to diversify your efforts to somewhere else you believe would yield more results.
I'm not arguing the fact that some things are not worth our efforts, neither am I saying it wouldn't be nice to diversify our efforts to something a lot more worth the effort, all I'm tryna say is that, sometimes we may never know the actual worth of something, not until we keep trying and trying without giving up.

i have taught myself to look at things from different perspectives always because sometimes you are inside your head too much that you cannot see the big picture anymore which usually is not as bad as you made it out to be in the first place

rather than "quitting" i like to think it is just redirection moving on to focus on other things does not mean you are quitting but rather you are just taking up on  a different path which again might not be as bad as you made it out to be in your head

And it would really be just that too impossible that someone couldnt really be able to think up well or be able to assess whether the things they've been doing is still right or not.
You are the ones who would really be able to make up some action whether you would really be needing up to stop or would really be proceeding. Just like been said that it would really be that
odd if  you cant be able to determine about whats wrong and whats right. Quitting up on the moment that you do see that it is really that compromising something or on the moment that it is really that affecting those important things on which it is really just that a normal act to be done.

I agree that knowing when to quit is crucial. It’s not about giving up on your goals but rather about strategically redirecting your efforts to more rewarding and aligned opportunities, thus saving time, stress, and resources while ultimately fostering growth and success.

Nobody learns it all in life. That's why mistakes are always bound to happen in whatever we do. If there are no mistakes in the beginning, we won't learn other things to add up to what we have learned. It's very normal and acceptable for humans to make mistakes. It's from that mistake they will learn and be perfect in what they choose to do.

Quiting is not an option when it comes to life battles and challenges but everyone should have a limit and set boundaries to it's okay as their situation that will require you quiting, everyone should know when to call it a day and throw in the towel as quiting don't mean you're a loser but only give you the chance and opportunity to evaluate your self and make you see area's where you have not done well and help improve your self. Quiting don't mean you're a failure as there are allot of persons who quited and came back winning

Fu fact...! He who fights and run, lives to fight another day, don't kill your self over what is not adding to you, but rather subtracting from  you.

Most times its not a good thing to quit early. I've been in some situations in life where I just quit and at that moment I realized that if I had held a little bit longer I would be smiling at that time. Life is full of ups and downs as we know it. Not every day will be as favourable as expected but then the times when you experience the most of your life should be a lesson for you even when things gets better. Don't quit when you haven't tried at all, only quit when there is no other way forward.

Critically examine your situation and know when it isn't amd won't be favorable to you at last .

This kind of principle would really be just that applicable if we do speak about into those various situations in life on which quitting isnt really that an option specially if we are really that trying out to achieve something specially on pursuing our dreams and goals in life, but if we do speak about not quitting in dealing up with gambling or any thing that involves money or betting then it will really be something that will be leading up into disaster if you wont really be that careful or really that mindful. It would really be that impossible that you wont really be able to determine
on what are the things which are bad or good for you to deal on with. Sometimes people cant think off well due to some factors and thats why they do end up on bad or wrong decisions in life
and making out some regret later on.
