We see a major event in the form of a transition from the ancient era to the modern era...it is also a challenge in itself for any company or platform to be able to survive following the development of the era....

Including Bitcoin... will one day we leave Bitcoin too and remember it as history?? Bitcoin is only 15 years old, very young compared to gold... According to some researchers, gold was first discovered in 2450 BC, meaning that until now the age of gold is 4473 years...

Is Bitcoin able to survive like gold??? Or will it soon be replaced with a new one?

Well, who can't tell really. IMO, it will be unlikely, considering Bitcoin has the strongest network security that is unlikely to change considering how many prefer PoS or something similar nowadays. Not to mention being the first crypto will always make Bitcoin look more valuable, with its scarce supply, etc. A new coin would need to offer more or less the same thing, and with how crowded the space is, that seems unlikely. Even if it no longer holds the 1st spot on market cap websites, no one would throw Bitcoin away if the network is still running properly.

Nothing is eternal in this world, it is possible that bitcoin will also be replaced in the future if there are bitcoin competitors that are better than bitcoin.  But for now, Bitcoin is still the best crypto.
 We see that gold is also starting to be abandoned by the younger generation as an investment vehicle, they are turning to crypto.

It's a good question, I think BTC can't survive like gold as I think it was an experiment that got successful. As people are adopting it it indicates its success. I can say for sure that until the last satoshi will not be mine till then BTC will survive after that I don't know how things are going to work for miner and for regular BTC transaction maker. As after last halving, the only source for a miner to earn money would be via TX fee and we know that they can't make living with $30 fee even.

And People can't afford to pay $100 or $200 fee for the tx. I don't know if the tx would go that high but still, I think till then we won't be able to see what will happens to ti, as an average human can't live that long. Gold existed this long because of its physical existence and governments wants to keep its existence, if governments would want to keep the exisance of BTC then it will survive otherwise not.

We do not know what will happen in the future. But I think that BTC has already set its foundation. You do not get to see a lot of assets to get etf and supported by various big financial companies and countries. If ever it will be replaced, no one knows when. But here is the thing, that discussion has been on going since long time ago.

Nobody knows. But FWIW, USDT used to exist on Bitcoin blockchain (with help of OmniLayer protocol), but ultimately killed by Tether few years ago. So i expect other usage of Bitcoin will become less popular over time.

We do not know what will happen in the future. But I think that BTC has already set its foundation. You do not get to see a lot of assets to get etf and supported by various big financial companies and countries. If ever it will be replaced, no one knows when. But here is the thing, that discussion has been on going since long time ago.

We might know what will happen in the future but we know the kind of ground that bitcoin is holding so it will be a very difficult situation for replacement and despite all kinds of altcoins popping up bitcoin will still be their king,  and the beginning of cryptocurrency started with bitcoin i don't see anything changing that. We should just focus our minds on bitcoin tested and trusted and the market cap of bitcoin alone is enough to convince anyone that people actually loves bitcoin.

That was Tether's choice though, they had all the cards in their hands.

Honestly it doesn't look like Bitcoin is going anywhere anytime soon. It is the most disruptive cryptocurrency, more so than coins with fast development like Ethereum.

It will survive like gold and it is digital gold. I don't think it will be replaced ever unless the world stops and just resets but it's going to be here. It's better to have modern technology continue its course and I think it will still revolve in this.

be replaced in terms of what? marketcap, decentralization, trading volumes, number of transactions per second, cheaper fees,  faster confirmations, technical development, price?
Bitcoin can be replaced in any of the previous pairs individually, where a currency can have a limited number and a price of 80k, or it can be replaced in terms of market capacity, or in terms of cheaper fees, or faster confirmations, but from all these aspects, Bitcoin will inevitably remain number 1.

I don't really sure has any replacement of bitcoin one day later with new kinds of cryptocurrency or other platform with digital payment transaction feature. Since launching almost 15 years ago, bitcoin keep existing and make many people interested to make their investment assets until bigger companies adopting bitcoin for payment transaction.
Faced many drama banned from top country but bitcoin keep become more excited investment way by investor and right now billion people have invested in bitcoin.
In short time, I don't sure any kinds will replace bitcoin has good position as payment transaction way and investment assets maybe until ten or twenty years later.

I do not think that Bitcoin can live as long as gold, especially in light of the fact that governments do not want to adopt Bitcoin. Governments from ancient times adopted gold and kept it, and therefore gold has a long lifespan until now. If governments had not accepted gold, I don't think it would have lasted this long.

As for Bitcoin, I think that its chances of survival decrease with the passage of time. It is true that it becomes more valuable with the passage of time, but let us not forget that there will come a day when Bitcoin mining ends and the rewards end, and thus the network will become dependent on fees. At that time, we do not know what will happen. If the fees are few, miners will not continue to work, and if the fees are high, people will leave for a cheaper network.

I don't know why people keep comparing Bitcoin to gold, because the only thing they share is that both assets can be a store of value. People have been using gold for thousands of years, and today it is widely used not only as an investment, but gold can also be found in jewelry, making electronics, and decorating furniture.

I think it can be copied/forked  but they won't work.

I thinm world cannot have 2 safe PoW coins that will work as a world currency. The idea of pow is to have a big hashrate, só just copying its model won't work.

It's takes a lot of time to build a project that people loves as a favorite and a lot of hard work has been done and continued, so I don't know how a project will come and replace Bitcoin. Ethereum use to be hype about been the next Bitcoin but despite been proof of work before they change to proof of stake, they never comes to half the market cap of Bitcoin, they never have not achieved half mile the price Bitcoin has done and despite been like by Bitcoin community, it's the most love altcoin after Bitcoin. Which altcoin will exactly gain interest like Ethereum not to even talk about Bitcoin best short.
