If we go back to the past, did we ever think that we would know bitcoin or that bitcoin would be born? I personally didn't think like that before I got to know bitcoin. And this may apply to something that will come in the future.

We can only speculate here, and the truth of our current speculations will only be discovered in the future. But what is clear is that we are speculating about what we see now. So in my opinion this is not something that is certain.
Talking about speculation, I agree with you. Bitcoin holders when Bitcoin was first launched, they only speculated to hold it until it lasted until the price of Bitcoin was this expensive. It was an intelligent speculation and a person who had great luck. Because at that time many people doubted bitcoin.
Well, this also cannot be separated from luck for those who believed in Bitcoin at the beginning, because with many people doubting Bitcoin at that time and even saying bad things, they still believed in it and brought them huge profits.

Let's be realistic now, when there is something at the beginning that we have never even known about before, will we easily believe it? I do not think so. But now I am very lucky to be part of this community.

There are more than 14 thousand coins in the cryptocurrency space so far but none of them have surpassed Bitcoin. As technology improves there are new coins being added in the crypto market but Bitcoin has retained its top position and will remain strong. Bitcoin has only been around for 15 years and its price has risen significantly in that time. In the coming days, the price of Bitcoin will increase significantly and every satoshi will be worth it. Bitcoin's journey relative to gold has only just begun. Modern people love digital currency than physical currency. Moreover, Bitcoin has become such an asset that people are hoarding Bitcoin over other assets. New technologies may emerge, but no replacement will ever be able to take Bitcoin's place. Because whatever technology comes will be centralized, Bitcoin is decentralized so there is no possibility of its replacement very soon.

Is Bitcoin able to survive like gold??? Or will it soon be replaced with a new one?
We have been reading this kind of question for how many years now from other forum(BTT) and we keep reading answers like

- There is never be an assurance ..

- Bitcoin Will be here forever .

- Yeah it will be replaced in the future.

those are the common answers we have read for years now but do we really mean that?

While others know that this is a digital gold (bitcoin) but assuring everyone that it can stay forever is never been a certain thing  and not being replaced? Gold is upto  now is on top  against silber and bronz like bitcoin against ethereum than ethereum and other coins .
If we go back to the past, did we ever think that we would know bitcoin or that bitcoin would be born? I personally didn't think like that before I got to know bitcoin. And this may apply to something that will come in the future.
that is too far from comparing mate because what you pointed here is that replacement and not creation so that is not the same manner here.

but replacement for me will never come to reality because this will neve replaced instead there will be another coin that will popularized but not to kill bitcoin.

this is crypto market that exist in speculations , so nothing is certain in any way .

lets pray that bitcoin will never replaced .

For me, I believe Bitcoin's position is unshakeable and can never be replaced. Its longevity and widespread support have cemented its role in the financial world. As the pioneer of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is likely to remain a key player in the future of money and has the potential to revolutionize numerous payment methods.
The problem with the idea of Bitcoin treated as a payment method is it's fluctuating fees which is annoying and will cause some delay to transactions just like what we have in the previous months wherein the fee itself reaches more or less $200. For me Bitcoin is best for long term investment but for payment purposes I don't think so unless devs will fix things up.

There have been many side developments for BTC lately. An example is the Lightning Network for BTC payments. I believe there will be more solutions addressing fee issues and transaction delays over time, as we are now seeing decentralized Layer 2 solutions for Bitcoin via Ordinals and Runes. As the space evolves, we can expect further improvements addressing transaction fees and processing times. These advancements along with future innovations, are likely to enhance Bitcoin's utility and efficiency also.

Every alt coin ever is built and inspired by foundations laid by Bitcoin. Each is an attempt to dethrone the king. However many altcoins there are, that's how many attempts Bitcoin has tried to be replaced.

For sure Bitcoin paved the way for all alts to also come in even including the avalanche of memecoins that we are experiencing right now. Now, I don't believe that all alts are built to replace Bitcoin as most of them got some unique features of their own and they want to co-exist with Bitcoin in a mutual relationship. While Bitcoin is the King, all of these alts are the minions and they are all working together to make our cryptocurrency experience merry, bright and hopefully very rich. In terms of value - just like the real gold - Bitcoin is now an irreplaceable asset and this can be true for so many years to come as this digital asset is now elevated to a new level courtesy of Wall Street via the approved ETFs.

Bitcoin's popularity has not yet been matched, because people are more familiar with bitcoin than the names of altcoins, and maybe that will continue for the next few years.

To create a new token or project is currently quite easy, but to build an ecosystem and community is very difficult. It takes a lot of money to provide full support for this new project. They also have to prove that the newly developed project has very high demand. There have been too many different kinds of altcoins created and there is a lot of money circulating there, but only a few altcoins are still able to have quite high demand in the market.

Yes, that's right, if you just create tokens or projects it's easier, especially now that many networks such as Binance Smart Chain and Solana provide that. Sustainability of the project is the main goal, where lots of materials are needed so that demand will increase. And this is the most difficult task for team promotion.

We see a major event in the form of a transition from the ancient era to the modern era...it is also a challenge in itself for any company or platform to be able to survive following the development of the era....

Including Bitcoin... will one day we leave Bitcoin too and remember it as history?? Bitcoin is only 15 years old, very young compared to gold... According to some researchers, gold was first discovered in 2450 BC, meaning that until now the age of gold is 4473 years...

Is Bitcoin able to survive like gold??? Or will it soon be replaced with a new one?

Well, it's possible though but considering an altcoin, I have zero believe an altcoin can actually replace Bitcoin, considering the amount of years, market cap and reputation it would have before it can get to where Bitcoin is, it's almost impossible to imagine such scenario coming into existence. But it's possible a new digital currency could be created that can surpass Bitcoin but it will take years for such network to be generally accepted, and if it's controlled by the government then the odds of replacing Bitcoin is minimal. I believe that the decentralised nature of Bitcoin is the major reason it survive till this very day, once the government start implementing task on any currency other than decentralised one, is t is likely to fail fade off after a while.

If you are talking about another innovation or technology being able to replace bitcoin, I will say no, and this is because bitcoin itself haven't replaced gold, even though many see and tag bitcoin as a digital gold, it still has not and may likely never replace gold, and the possible reason may be because gold is a natural resources, things that are related to nature can't be easily replaced by things created by man, think about it, both bitcoin and gold will continue to co-exist together.

But on the other hand, if you are talking about another cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin, I did say it's not going to be easy but it's still possible, and if this can ever happen, it may take several generations from now.
It's impotant for us to know that nothing created by man is indispensable, or irreplaceable, if someone will develop a better cryptocurrency in the future, and manage to gain the kind of support bitcoin has, that crypto currency may like climb to take over bitcoin's place in terms of market cap.

I don't know how long it took to create the same technology as Bitcoin and be able to compete with it.
There are many who claim that coins in the past were better than Bitcoin such as BCH and coins that were even created from the Bitcoin fork.

Claims are just claims, but until now they have not been able to match Bitcoin, even side by side is not possible.

Bitcoin remains the king of the cryptospace and there is no one to replace it, becoming the coin with the largest market capitalization so that Bitcoin affects everything that happens in crypto.

Let us get this clear, gold is a valuable natural resources While Bitcoin is a developed technology surrounded with valuables.

They are all good for asset holding but comparing which one may stay longer, they gold may actually do simply because it is being controlled by an authority by which governments to governments can always get connected on how they can control and utilize it. As nature resources it may stand to be, ideally no one can crash it or wipe it out of the surface from existence but those not mean it holds the highest values.

If Bitcoin maintains it stance, the value of Bitcoin will sure surpass that of gold despites how tender it is to gold.
Why it is a bit feared that Bitcoin might go on extinction is that fact that many authorities are biased to it due to its nature of decentralizations.

But let us be realistic, ask yourself, are you comfortable with the way that the governments and its authorities has a final decision making over your personal assets or net worth?
Thinking of this, then you Will always find Bitcoin technology to be far advanced to gold.

In terms of altcoins replacing Bitcoin I don't think that would be possible because at first we should consider what altcoins is on Bitcoin because actually it was through Bitcoin other coins came to an existence which means that Bitcoin is the hearts of every other cryptocurrency so if perhaps the price of Bitcoin will always play a vital role on the price of every other altcoins what are the possibility of any of them replacing Bitcoin?.

Though I'm not of the opinion that other cryptocurrency does not have good potential but compare to Bitcoin they are actually nothing because Bitcoin is the most trusted coin among every other coin so only this factor makes people to develop so much interest on it because they believe that no matter the price fluctuations and consolidation it will always move to the targeted direction unlike other coins that we cannot really no how the future will be in as much as they could be doing very well now.

Bitcoin has a use case in our modern generation; as long as it has a use case, it will continue to have value. We don't know if one day it will become obsolete or if something better will replace it. Bitcoin needs support from equipment and the internet, take out that support and it will become obsolete but as long as we have these two in this generation and generation to come we will continue to enjoy Bitcoin.
