We see a major event in the form of a transition from the ancient era to the modern era...it is also a challenge in itself for any company or platform to be able to survive following the development of the era....
Including Bitcoin... will one day we leave Bitcoin too and remember it as history?? Bitcoin is only 15 years old, very young compared to gold... According to some researchers, gold was first discovered in 2450 BC, meaning that until now the age of gold is 4473 years...
Is Bitcoin able to survive like gold??? Or will it soon be replaced with a new one?
If you are talking about another innovation or technology being able to replace bitcoin, I will say no, and this is because bitcoin itself haven't replaced gold, even though many see and tag bitcoin as a digital gold, it still has not and may likely never replace gold, and the possible reason may be because gold is a natural resources, things that are related to nature can't be easily replaced by things created by man, think about it, both bitcoin and gold will continue to co-exist together.
But on the other hand, if you are talking about another cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin, I did say it's not going to be easy but it's still possible, and if this can ever happen, it may take several generations from now.
It's impotant for us to know that nothing created by man is indispensable, or irreplaceable, if someone will develop a better cryptocurrency in the future, and manage to gain the kind of support bitcoin has, that crypto currency may like climb to take over bitcoin's place in terms of market cap.
