In match fixing: the outcome of a game can be manipulated by reference or coaches for the interest of their betting profit, and for that reason distort the fairness of any game.
In conflict of interest:There is an obvious conflict of interest when players or team officials wager on their own games. They might put their own financial gain ahead of the integrity of the sport, which would result in dubious performances or results. What's your opinion.

I totally agree with you on this critical matter that you raised on this platform about gambling affecting the integrity of sporting events all over the world as the rate of gambling is increasing and more people because more aware about betting there are concern about the integrity of these sporting events as there are strong insinuation compromise at the part of players and referees who collect bribe from people who fix sporting events and get rewards with financial benefits and this is the greatest problem of sport today because greed and get rich syndrome has entered thes players and referees including those organizing these sporting events. And if this continues very soon sport will loose it value as sporting events will be predetamined  before the game even start so it be be like acting a movie as the players already know what to do behind the scenes

The integrity of sports is already affected due to the number of match-fixing and corrupt practices we learn of in sports.

Already, many fans have had a loss of trust in football match results. They always thought match results were somehow influenced by officials or coaches. This has undermined the fairness of games and discouraged honest competitors of matches bets.

Well, that can only happen when all players of the team or you can say top players of a team and club also get paid for match fixing, only coaches won't be able to do something like that on their own. I believe such thing has been present in sports since their beginning, where favoring was done in past because of bribe and now it's happening due to betting profits.
