There is nothing like small bet in principle of gambling, what matters most is how lucky you could be. Be it small bet and large bet they both depends on luck and for that you also needs experience, I don't see any need twist the whole things here. As we know, if you bet huge or small the probability of winning is 0 or 1 so there is no special preferences for betting with small amount or huge amount same lucks that applies in huge is also what makes up small.

You are right, no matter how much we bet, if we are unlucky then we will feel the defeat. But if we are lucky enough, then even a small bet will be a big win if we are lucky enough.

If you are playing poker there is some skill involved.
If you are betting any sport bar none skill is meaningless unless you are playing the game yourself.

IE I am am playing a game of tennis against another person my skill is important.

If I am betting on 2 people playing one another in tennis my skill is meaningless.

Why is that?

The two people playing one another can cheat which means all my skills do not help since I do not know if the game is fixed.

I am am boxing a person and want to bet I will win yeah my boxing skill matters.

If I bet on two other people boxing I can't possibly know if they will fix the fight.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but we have to be able to place where we should put it. When taking a big risk, of course the profit that can be obtained will be bigger too, but that can't be applied in gambling.

We must remember that the choices we make should also be in harmony with the environment specifically when it comes to something that concerns fate. Large possibilities are always linked with large aims and although this is true for anything big which can be managed, it is suitable for something that can be planned strategically. In gambling, it is a strategic move that is not dependent on calculation of chances but on luck that cannot be determined by our will. For this reason, the focus on such tenet as ‘high risk; big profit’ like in gambling is not the correct thing to do. In case it is still desired to continue doing so we have to understand that there may never be a guarantee and therefore it must also always be set with parameters that must not lead to damages that are hard to contain.
