Dogecoin started as joke coin but its impressive growth can not be ignored. Elon Musk support has helped it but other factors have also contributed. More people are using and investing in Dogecoin and ads on Twitter have raised awareness. Big investors like Elon Musk can influence market. All these factors combined have driven Dogecoin progress. While social media excitement can temporarily boost prices long term growth relies on coin actual value and continued adoption.

However, for example, if you get caught up in a rug pull scheme, meme tokens don't seem like any fun anymore.

In a few months of doge investment, I have sold yesterday at $0.39 the profit has doubled and for me this is enough even though in the future it can go even higher.

That's very nice. I have a good number of Doge which I had when Doge was around 0.12. I have made x3 profits currently. I am planning to hodl Doge much longer, maybe when Doge hits one dollar at least. By then, I will feel much better and happier to sell at that price.

I suspect what's making Doge increase in the price of late should be that Elon Musk, who supports Doge, is among the people who supported Trump to win the election. it is not the time to give up on doge just yet because it is not yet altcoin season and we still have not seen many other altcoins reach their peaks i would start forgetting about doge if other altcoins are doing well and it is the only one that is not but right now not a lot of them seem to be following bitcoin which i guess makes sense because all focus and attention is still on bitcoin and not a lot are prioritizing buying altcoins at the moment

Before now I really didn't think of clarifying doge as a meme coin based on a couple of things like it's price and adoption. For the price part of it it's actually because it has kept on holding up a nice price for a very long time now even before the most recent of Elon's investment in it that contributed to that pump in price. For the adoption aspect, Many times I've come across some bitcoiners that confessed they make use of doge a lot of times especially if bitcoin fees are on the high side.

These are actually part of the factors that contribute to why I asked the question if doge is considered as a meme coin. Aside that most meme coins dump to literally almost 1% of their pump price after some time compared to doge.

The coins that have increased more in price recently have also decreased. As such when XRP had a big pump a few days ago, it lost a lot of its value from there and it has not increased at that rate yet, TRX has also corrected a lot, but in the case of Doge, we have seen a different picture where the coin has not changed its value since the increase in price and even when the market makes a small correction, it is able to maintain its price. That is why I can say that Doge coin is definitely in a bullish trend. It has the potential to reach its all-time high soon. Elon Musk will definitely have something good planned for this.
