It is not easy to see the people that you know to engage in something that can be destructive to them. It becomes a natural desire to discuss with them and also to help to bring back to their senses, as it were, because caring entails doing so. But it is not always possible to hear this and, although sometimes, one has to accept that the final word is theirs. And in this cases I would like to say that we must not make someone aware by using offensive words. We should sit down with them politely as much as possible and tell them where they are actually making mistakes. It can also be like making them aware indirectly without making any assumptions on them. Which I think would be better for both parties.

Well, everything is always a decision. As players and traders, we always take risks. The most that can happen is that we lose money, that's why we must be Responsible with the amount of money we are willing to lose and risk. So, whether in trading, in games , or in any aspect of life , we must make decisions and take risks. That's the only way to win. I would be very surprised if someone would give me special attitude because he saw or know that I gamble. Or if someone would divide people into categories, putting someone higher than the rest, because of their hobby or passion. I think people are not allowed to judge people the way they spend their money. People should not bother how I spend my money. Also I wonder what will come in mind if I was a successful gambler. People will envy me and also treat differently? That is absurd and unacceptable.

These are the attributes of a responsible gambler, one who has self control and discipline and does not allow himself to be carried away by his gambling life. Gambling for fun and exciting is what it should be and not for profit because such mentality  opposes the real intentions for which gambling is seen.

First of all, it is important to state that all the people who gamble are not struggling financially. There are those who fell into the gambling addiction where as some do gambling occasionally but do not end up bankrupt. A person who will be immature and will always be restless using his or her money without thinking of the results will only find it hard to change and is only causing himself or herself an injury. On the other side, those persons who are able to continue living their normal life and do not allow the gambling to take its toll on them are the examples of,. That is why I have more respect to those people who are still able to maintain responsibility for the lives of their families and do not turn to gambling in every financial aspect.

If you say this, then what about those who take it as a source of income? I believe if they are not struggling financially, they would not see it as a source of income, and some would not dare near casinos, but rather, they would see it as just for fun. So, therefore, your postulation seems not alright with me as I would say that those who also get addicted to gambling by chasing of loses are as a result of the fact that they see it as a source of income and would want to reclaim their investment back and in so doing, they lose more because of the minset they already have of making money through gambling and can not watch themselves lose money when they plan to make it through that means and by such thought, they chase their loses and get addicted.

Following idea came to my mind. When I see person gambling, at first I would try to evaluate how he looks to tell what kind of person is in front of me. If he is dressed well, looks well-groomed or presentable, then probably that person earn enough to have spare money that he can dedicate to gambling. What else except "Well done mate" can I say? Probably everything is fine with life for that person. But if gambler looks unpresentable, dirty clothes, bad smell, looks tired (has pouches under the eyes), probably drunk, then except "it is your choice to live your life" I can say nothing.

Nowadays people's mentality about gambling has changed because they now see gambling as fun, not to depend on it for a living or to gamble more than they can afford to lose

Till date some people still have that mentality, they see gambling as a distraction thinking that it's a destruction to any individual who involved in it. They see gambling as an abomination, thinking that anyone that is involved in gambling is committing a crime, and some see gamblers as a sinners thinking that nothing positive is going to come out of gambling. I know that all this is olden days mentality due to their beliefs, customs and tradition. We are in the 21th century and everything has changed.
