I see this as another means of stealing from the country's treasury, as it has always been their method. It may not seem like much but it matters regardless. It's a good thing you can fight publicly for your crypto say if something bad happens for instance. It's unlike if it's not approved and you have to either keep shut or do things on a low key.
Banning crypto in Nigeria really won't make the Naira to appreciate directly but it's probably what the government thinks even if they may know it doesn't work that way.
