Do you still believe in an altseason in 2025?

So do you still think we'll see an altseason this year, and do you think it's only last a few months or much longer than usual? What quarter do you think it might occur in if so?

To be honest, I feel like we are done for this season. Most of the alts lost 90% of their value and I don't see any sign of alt season yet. Considering Bitcoin already reached the ATH of 109K, and now moving sideways for a long time, I feel like the alts won't have much chance to recover from this point. Yet, the crypto market is full of uncertainty. Nobody knows what could happen in the coming months. But, I would expect for a alt season. I want to recover the money that I invested so far.

From this perspective, it is quite logical why some might consider it a weak market as the price has moved to a rather low area. But, as far as I am concerned, a big drop does not have to mean that all has lost its value. Indeed, many assets remain work on volume and recovering network activity although the price fell down. About this I regard it as accumulating stage rather than decline stage. As it is normally the case before the market goes back up again, it oscillates in a range that gives one some sort of doubt. That is nothing new in crypto as most of the coins and tokens fundamentally rely on the list as their primary means to be adopted. I still believe that as long as people continue to have confidence in the technology and its environment, the market could recover once again.

We can't say that we are done right now with altcoins season because if you take a look at the market lately you will see that it shows some signal patterns and this set of coins that are coming up lately are doing pretty well in the market and we should take note of them as we journey ahead this year 2025.

I still have some hope, but I am not expecting much. Let's say I invested a thousand dollars in alts, it is not around $150 or even less. I am kind of fucked up with my altcoins portfolio and I am still holding those coins hoping they will recover in the next five years. I don't want to sell those tokens as most of them worth only a few bucks right now.

Bitcoin market is moving sideways and I don't see any bullish signal right now. But some people are saying that we could see alt season at the end of the 2025. Let's see what happens in the next few months.

We have just entered Q2 and the bullish season will still last for a few more quarters, some say until Q4 this year. We will see what will happen in Q3 and Q4 whether we will see the peak of the bullish season.
I also agree that there are still many potential altcoin points that we can currently use to prepare for the bullish season [in Q3, because if the altcoin season comes we will get a lot of benefits from the increase in the price of the coins we buy

Currently, the market is gradually picking up, and I believe it would grow beyond its current state it is as a result of the demand for it. However, one thing we should know is that the majority of investors prefer a weak market because it gives them the opportunity to bag more of the token or coin they intend to buy, and that would help them a lot, as it would create more opportunities for more profit in the long run for them.

Yeah, I share a similar view. Whales won't be able to secure substantial profits by solely manipulating BTC price and overlooking opportunities with ALTs. ALTs possess appeal in terms of solutions, narratives, and price volatility, altseason consistently generates FOMO within the market, and whales can readily manipulate ALTs prices due to their smaller marketcaps compared to BTC's.

BTC price is still being maintained at a high level, and the opportunity for altseason to explode remains intact. I'm still holding ALTs and awaiting their moment this year, likely in Q3 & Q4, when the macroeconomy becomes more positive, the trade war concludes, the FED lowers interest rates, governments print more money, and BTC price reaches $150K-170K ^^

If we look at the market today, the Bitcoin market had already crossed 89k, although it has now dropped again, I think this is giving us a signal that our bull season is not over. I have said multiple times before that Bitcoin's price drop could be a bear trap where when users sell their bitcoins at a loss, the whales will take their entries again and only after taking those entries will the bull season run again.

Bitcoin price is now stable above $80k so the market is still holding a strong structure. However, it is still not believed that there will be another bull run in 2025. It is possible that Bitcoin is still giving us an opportunity to get out of the market and wait for the next Bear season. No one can guarantee what will happen in the market at any time. So anyone can make any kind of prediction.
