Actually you are completely right about this argument that trading is not simply about being lucky or guessing. Due to this, professionalism in trading depends on how well the ability to analyse the market is developed. In addition to gazing at the diagrams, important factors which contribute to the prices such as news, the economic policy changes, or even shift of the market all over the world. People who are not in this field may only know of short-term benefits in trading but as real traders, one has to be equipped with this knowledge. For me, when operating there is a lack of tools, for example if I trade with BTC I should have a consolidated volume, something that is not available, then I could invest in it to try to obtain a somewhat consolidated volume, if I read the volume well then obviously I will have a better analysis, otherwise I think that a lot can still be done, for that reason we should be people who , as far as possible, should have better technological tools, I think that with that detail we would be more successful.

I agree with you, there are many things to learn in trading including technical and fundamental analysis as the basic knowledge that a trader must have.
