There can be scammers here too, we also need to be careful.
Indeed, Being careful is very important, especially in crypto. Whether it's in determining investment, trading, certain projects, in communities and so on. We should not easily trust people, especially those who attract us to invest in certain projects, or on certain platforms, or in some other ways so that we follow them. We must be more vigilant and study it first. Don't just agree because of promises of fast double profits. We must be more open-minded, more vigilant, and at the same time more careful, because it might be too good to be true, so we must check and cross-check several things.

There are lots of scam happened that's why its better for investors to take precautious on those programs they are joining. Since if they lose their money from scam for sure that they won't recover it back anymore.

To many things to do for them to make knowledgeable investors and if they just know how to listen to good advices then add up with good research for sure that they would know what obvious scams then could able to avoid losing money from those scams.

people need to separate or distinguish fraudulent investments from investments that just failed just because an investment did not end up getting as much profit as expected does not mean it is automatically a scam it is possible that it just failed to gather enough investors but if the team did their best until the end then i do not think it can be considered a fraud at that point

I agree with that. A lot of projects fail because they don't get enough attention and investors, probably because they fail in promoting themselves very well, because that's basically what matters. If you are good at representing your project in a good way, create some buzz and hype around the space, and have some good use cases for the investors, you are surely going to go farther, but if you fail in any of those things, you will barely get enough retail investors and that's what matters for a project to stay around.
no there have been projects where the hype was there but the reason why they failed is because they are not a genuine project most of the tokens would be given to dev team or the owners of the project any project that has a distribution like that is ought to fail there are plenty of reasons to fail even if the project is hyped well
Quote
If someone, out of interest or hope of profits, invest in such a project, but then the project doesn't perform up to their expectation, or even have to close down, we can't call them scammers but it's probably a lack of good management that made them reach this position.
we willingly gave our money knowing the risks so we really can't claim that we got scammed we knew what we were getting into

This crypto community also includes a forum like this. While you are cautious of scams from outside, be also cautious of scams within. This is why you must ensure to avoid having private discussions with people in the forum that you do not know, especially discussions that you will be required to continue elsewhere.

There can be scammers here too, we also need to be careful.

Yes, that is correct. Any discussion within the forum that leaves the forum to continue somewhere else, there is/are some chances that one of the two parties will end up losing something. Not really everyone here are completely friendly, as any slight chance can be used as a tool to use in exploiting those that are vulnerable.

Scammers are people, and they will want to do it in every way they can to devour their preys. Being easily enticed with quick profit is a chance of falling into these traps set.

There are a lot of things to watch out for in order to avoid scams, you must avoid phishing links, do not click on just any link that you find. If you receive a message from someone you do not know, then it is probably a scam, you should also store your funds in cold storage, so that even if your online device is compromised, you only lose a little amount of money.
Not clicking any phishing links, and avoid chats from strangers on telegram will do a newbie a good thing of not being scammed in crypto space.

Phishing links and chats from strangers on telegram, are mostly the way scammers uses to scam newbies because they are actually unaware of the scammers formats of sending unsolicited links, and promising them good return of investment.

Some people don't know how these scams play out until they become victims. Just imagine someone connecting their wallet that holds personal funds, to every airdrop project that comes their way. Is that not a risk on its own?.

There are so many scams that can be avoided, but with the presence of greed and lack of information, they end up becoming victims. And what annoys me the most is that they start having a wrong ideology towards crypto in general.
