What’s the biggest lie we’re all telling ourselves in crypto right now?

Most of us came in talking about decentralization and altering the system but deep down we’re seeking profits just like Wall Street does. I guess the fiction I clung onto was that I was here for the tech but really I was here for the gains like everyone else. It doesn’t make us wicked, but it does mean we need to be honest if we ever hope to construct something substantial. Maybe the real revolution starts with that type of honesty.

It is not wrong or being wicked to expect profit from what love and engage yourself in, afterall, there is a common saying that a man's workshop is his workchop, and what this simply means is that, where a man works, that's where he earns a living from, this is not bad at all.

And like I've said before, being In crypto for the tech does not mean making money from it is a crime, for it make no sense to  even use what one can not or does not benefit from.

What kind of lie do you think someone will be holding onto about crypto. Is it that people can't achieve financial freedom through bitcoin investment or crypto is a pump and dump that scam people's money? Whichever one, you think or feel, I am 100% trust worthy of Bitcoin to be true not lies. What we have learn about it, is what it is, no lies.

The OP is only meaning in my opinion that what do we think of the market that it’s actually not the way many people portray it even when deep inside of us we still know it is like that. He’s not saying bitcoin is not a trustworthy investment but what we feel of the market that we know the truth of it but keeps trying to pretend that it’s not it.

When I was still new and participating in many start up sales/airdrops, I was forcing myself not to sell as a way to support the so called 'projects'. At the back of my mind, I wanted to sell so bad because other people were already dumping their tokens. At the end, I lost some money because of this 'support'

I have also fell for such in the past and it’s very hard to let the thought go when you’re already affected by it. It keeps ringing in our heads and hope that things get better and we not fall in such circumstances again. This does not mean we will not hesitate to hold again when such opportunities come, we make same mistake over and over again but the truth of the matter is that you should always sell to take first profit even if you wish to invest again after seeing how the coin is performing.

Actually, it's not just a common lie, but more about how we raise and win our hearts on some altcoins that have almost become dust in our swallows. hahhaa

this is actually painful when you see many rows of tokens in our wallets and exchanges that look like trash that is worthless at all. There are even some tokens that have been delisted but cannot be transferred to other exchanges. and so on. both those obtained from free programs and those that were previously purchased. sometimes I lie to myself that everything will be fine and will be profitable, but in fact the reality is much more bitter. that's why, now, I prefer to be realistic and ready for all the bad things that will happen to my crypto assets.
