Upon checking on news articles, I believe they are going to house the most violent criminals there, and wouldn't it be a crime against humanity if that were to happen again? Upon reading, it was closed because of the expensive operational costs, so how would that affect the US economy?

There should be a right budget thing with that so I don't know if that's possible or even economic

I was just watching videos about Alcatraz and movies inspired about it. If Trump is going to open, I think that he really does not just to scare illegal immigrants and criminals but to fulfill it with people that deserve to get into it. If he does, I hope he shows to the world on how scary to be in there. And procedures of being sent there are not going to be that much and anyone who's accountable for their crimes will automatically go there.

It could be that he activated it for those who are involved in drug related cases and some other criminal acts that have or may have committed inside the US. I think he is up on something that has caused the economy trouble or those who cause chaos in every states.

this can be easily abused if as op said “illegal aliens” get thrown here that would be absolutely inhumane i do not think immigration is a bad enough thing to be thrown to a prison such as that one
