Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments

Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit. Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?

I believe there are some crypto that is good to invest in long term but we need to be carefully check to ensure the crypto invested is profitable and not risk our investment capital.

Can't blame them as ethereum's price is still dependent to bitcoin. I believe it can become independent from bitcoin but that won't be happening soon.

to play long-term I prefer investing and buying ETH as much as I can buy, because the price of ETH is also still cheap and ETH works with some very good ICO and makes you become rich.

 don’t see Etherium as a threat to Bitcoin however I do think it is possible that Etherium could pass Bitcoin in market cap.

The reason I don’t consider this as a threat is that I believe that these two coins have different uses. I see Bitcoin admire if a store of value like digital gold. I see Etherium as more of a platform for tokens. I think they will both exist together.
