At first, one has to bootstrap a whole blockchain network before he could create a cryptocurrency or ICO. And creating, securing and maintaining a blockchain network from scratch is very hard. But Vitalik Buterin, cofounder of ethereum made ethereum in a way that one can create a blockchain application on top of it without actually having to bootstrap a blockchain network himself. Thereby making it easier to develop your own cryptocurrency or ICO. Do you think this has contributed to the many scammed projects we see today, since one does not need to work hard from scratch and also considering the fact that most of the ICOs are built on the Ethereum blockchain?

I think ethereum is trusted coin, It is so popular and smart contract. It is not contributed to scammed projects.

the ethereum platform needs changes to minimize fraud otherwise this will be a source of scammers and must be replaced by a better platform. The fence does not hurt the reputation of the etherium itself.

For sure ethereum platform was not intended to contributed in any scams ICO. We cannot stop those intelligent scammers as they always formulate new forms of strategies to victimized someone else. Ethereum can be innocent by this allegations.

although many ico scam projects use the ethereum platform, that doesn't mean that ethereum supports scam projects.

Ethereum is just like a tool and can used by scammer to scam others peoples. Peoples with good knowledge can make their own smart contract and duplicating other good project. But its not ethereum fault because ethereum is just a tool and its depending on user to use smart contract

it could happen because at this time we see for ourselves that only one project is a scam and this is all possible because of the ease in making tokens on ethereum contracts.

No I don't think that there is a direct correlation between Ethereum growth usage and ICO scams.. there are also many scams that have their own blockchain (that simply do not exist!)
