Some few months back, the Central Bank of Spain made a statement about crypto with the aim to let the people know that crypto poses lot of risks than benefits as the people might have heard.
I'm not surprised that came from that came from the Central Bank of Spain because the banks detest the existence of cryptocurrency because it knows crypto is in to cause a great competition and disruption in its service delivery. It is trying to make all false claims about crypto in order to ingrain misconceptions in the people.
Crypto offers countless benefits with limited risks. The risks only set in when you enter crypto investment without adequate knowledge on how the market operates.

We can't forget that it's not that hard to loose a ton of money with regular stocks, people loose millions in seconds.  While it's certainly possible to hurt yourself financially with crypto, it's not that hard to do the same with traditional instruments as well.  Credit cards are a good example, its a blessing for most, those who pay it off on time, but causes bankruptcy in others.
