Of course yes since there are still erc20 token that has a potential to the market, but mostly of the erc20 token are worthless. That's why we have to be carefull in buying an altcoins.

If we start talking about token that has come and gone with no trace of single success , we must have more than what we have now in the market has many has used this erc20 to loot funds from investors and turning themselves to millionaire in shirt time but yet we can use erc20 to be the topic but token as ETH create the smart contract to enable a short running of side chain and easy for every good idea people to use but scammer turn it to another thing and their will still be more to come that us why is better to stick to the token you know for long and has a very reputable team to make is succeed.

I trust ERC20 tokens whether it is scam or not it depend on its project. Before investing a project  research properly so you can prevent from any scam.

I believe eBitcoin was a airdrop coin and I don't have much expectations with airdrop coins. Its not easy to identify the scam projects in the beginning. Many of us bought different different coin in hope of that we will earn good profit from them but we are wrong many of the coins we hold are scammed coin or we can say worth just some pennies. So one should always do proper research before investing in any project or buying any coin. I trust ERC-20 tokens as you know majorly we have ERC-20 tokens in the market and we should not blame it on the other hand we should do proper homework before buying/investing in any coin.

Erc20 tokens are not really secure the way people think. A friend got scammed with a contract address that's not safe. Let's just be careful.

Of course, there is no complete confidence in projects based on the ERC-20 token, since most Scam projects are created on the Ethereum blockchain, because it is easier. Trust, but check, as they say. In General, the crypto space is a rather specific area of investment, as it is often deceived. So you need to study the project thoroughly, and still try not to invest in projects without a product, let it be a finished product at least at the beta stage.

No I don't, most ERC20 tokens are not to be trusted only just very of them. To me, most ERC20 tokens are pump and dump coins.

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create a lot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product.

Why not? ERC20 tokens which are based on the Ethereum Blockchain are one of the trust worthy coins due to the smart contract which makes all verified and unverified transactions able to be scanned by participants in order to promote transparency. It also makes it possible to scan all tokens holders of a particular coin for research and other significant purposes.

Well not all Erc20 tokens are garbage but I agree most of it are garbage. But they are some useful too, Binance uses Erc20 as BNB token and TRX use it before creating their own blockchain and many more.
