In the past days I read that Ripple Labs sold some XRP during last price increase, but analysts continue to signal that target price is 1,5$.

Yes Ripple is not dead yet instead of it's slowly recovering , Before two months Ripple price was declined $0.25 but Ripple price is slowly rise again suddenly Ripple was moved up second place at coinmarketcap then down again Ripple is really profitable coin.
