Yes that right ethereum is the Worth investment although for few months its affected very hardly thus it's dropped second place in coinmarketcap but surely Ethereum is the worth project so it will rise again.

I highly doubt about it, usually after hardfork coins lose significant percent of their price.
I might look at recent Bitcoin Cash hardfork.
