The best time to buy alts are when they go dip more as there will surely be a bounce back that can give 5-10% in short time before it reset for normal correction. So I don't see alts dead now as market is bearish but some will not survive it .

when bitcoin grow up altcoin will hit a success and grow up to and bitcoin down altcoin is down and dying of course.
