If it is more a new person with 0 crypto knowledge at all it is quote difficult especially when you does not have any guidance, i was lucky that my friend teach me about crypto and i can pick it up fast. I find that for amateur is difficult is because to download the wallet which is the first step for crypto there is many different types of wallets for ethereum alone additionally there are coins like stellar, neo and etc that is not compatible with ethereum wallet, this alone is already quite a broad subject, moving on there is many exchanges in the market this might confused them and not forgetting centralize exchange and decentralize exchange. Crypto is a not easy to learn subject.

I agree that cryptocurrency investment is really difficult to understand for new comers considering that we have so many things to consider and we should keen into details in verifying the crypto that we need to invest because investing in crypto for now is to risky due to a very weak market.
