I recomand you to split the money ,if i decide to invest 500 $ i buy  Ethereum for 300 $ and EOS for 200 $ bouth coin have good price and are great project.

If I choose between BTC, LTC, ETH and EOS maybe I will select EOS and LTC considering the price of Ethereum is getting lower and on the coinmarketcap, I don't see the total supply.

Honestly, it’s very difficult to say with such a market, if I had at least a few thousand, I would choose an investment in bitcoin, and with 500$ I would not invest in the ethereum, because ethereum only falls, so it remains only to find a new alt and fully study it and then invest in it.

I think $500 is enough to invest in Ethereum considering that the current market price is at $197 and once the price will reached the same price with the bitcoin it would be a big profit for every investors considering that among all coins only ETH has a big potential to rise like bitcoin.

It is good you seek for opinion from people but I will say never take their advise as a total option for investment, always take time to do research before investing in any coin. However I will look critically at any of the top 10 coins on CMC to invest there.

Actually I have no money right now, but it is okay to dream if I have $500.    I prefer to buy Ripple, Ethereum, and DogeCoin. I will diversify my money into these coins, and not to buy bitcoin. For now, I tend to buy top altcoins for investment.

I will buy Ripple (XRP) with 500$. Because of the price is quite cheap, I think I will get good amount of XRP. I believe in XRP for the best investment choice. So, I am not interested to buy ethereum or bitcoin with 500$.
