if I still choose bitcoin and etherium bro for long-term investment. but if for short-term investments I usually invest in fidentiax and Tekonomy and so on because I myself am not focused on certain coins when investing in short-term

I don't think there is such a thing. as the most reliable altcoin. because crypto easily evaporates the fan cannot be predicted. so ethereum is one of the safest and also safe enough that i can say and you won't know what will happen in crypto. so that means most. if not all altcoins can also be predicted

There you can choose which Cryptocurrency is worth buying and investing. if in my opinion, choosing one or more of the altcoins listed in the top 20 coins is the right choice. and there are Ethereum, Dash, Neo, Eos, Cardano and others.

What for you is the safest and most reliable altcoin that any beginners of cryptocurrency can buy and invest in to? Because bitcoin is unpredictable I wonder if I can start buying altcoins instead, however, I do not want to buy an altcoin that will just be a waste of money.

I think the most reliable altcoin is Litecoin. I understand that some are going to say indignantly that it is no more than a Bitcoin copycat and they will be right. But just like there can be only one true Bitcoin, I guess we can safely assume that there can only be one true Bitcoin copycat, and it is Litecoin. Kidding aside, Litecoin is what Bitcoin should have been right from the start. Basically, it is just a tweaked version of Bitcoin which is better in every aspect. In other words, it is as reliable as Bitcoin itself.

Other coins may have some fancy features, but how many people are actually interested in them apart from a few geeks and academics? People need a fast as well as cheap means of payment universally accepted, and Litecoin fits here perfectly.

It is quiet difficult to specify which coin actually is the best because cryptocurrency is volatile and lately, the price of the coins have all fallen drastically. I would have recommended Ethereum, but with its current performance, I do not think it is the best coin now.
