I choose alts and ignore bitcoins

I've been ignoring bitcoin for a while now, I had bad experience with fees, and in the beginning lost a chunk because I was sending with high fees accidentally.  I put the rest, about $30 into dogecoins, and it rose to over $200 and I sold it.  After that I fell in love with alts.  I've been so spoiled with alts, if I have to wait longer than five minutes for confirmation, I'm a little edgy, I'm glad locked up bitcoin transactions are a thing of the past for me now, since I don't send bitcoin anymore.  Do you choose alts over bitcoin purely out of fees/long transacton times?

I agree with your words. At the beginning of the year, I mostly heard about Bitcoin and did not pay attention to many altcoins. I realized that it is profitable to buy new altcoins. At the beginning of the year I bought a lot of altcoins. Many have given me a lot of profit, even now. I'm in profit guys)

I try to avoid transferring bitcoin as much as possible before the lightning network was implemented because the transfer fees are just too much. The payoff for choosing alts over bitcoin can be huge

It's just a matter of right timing and willingness to take the risk in altcoins to reach the level of successful profit because being stick in bitcoin sometimes make your money stagnant for the long time.

Awesome, glad to hear you reached profitability with alts.  Hopefully litecoin will be as good to me as dogecoins were, but I'm still holding on to the dogecoins as well.  New non ether currency definitely has potential, new contract coin, security coins, etc, have lots of appeal for ICO's and personal use.

Yeah you are right.Actually i started with my crypto experience with bitcoin. I bought bitcoin 1 years ago. and that time i didnt use my bitcoin. Always i bought neo and eth and make transactions with these altcoins. After some time i tried to send my btc to binance. Wow. that is really big issue. We can not track clearly and that is really slow and fee is really expensive. I waited aproximately 30 minutes for that tax. And after that i realised how beautiful are alts..

You have normal strategy, because to get a good profit from bitcoin need to invest in it at least a few thousand dollars, but with alts is much easier to work, because you can invest a hundred dollars and at the best deal multiply it tenfold.

Alts were very kind to me last year. I hold very little Bitcoin... but that was the wrong move for this year. Bitcoin has held its value much better than altcoins have in 2018.

Yes, and thirty minute transaction is a good day too, I waited two days, my mistake, fee too low, but fees were huge at that time, so I couldn't really afford it, that was some of my last uses of bitcoin.

My alts are dominant compare to Bitcoin but I don't want the popularity and hype died because the price alts are pegged with BTC.

I am sure that Bitcoin will soon lose both its popularity and its high price, because it is mainly used as a means of accumulating value. This is a dead end in development, it cannot lead anywhere, and its large current price will fall after a panic when it once again soars in price.
The future is for altcoins.

I agree, I spent a lot of time on earning sites when I first started with crypto, and even rewards get affected by bitcoin transaction fees, I started using litecoin to cash out, and it's so much cheaper.  Unfortunately not many places reward in doge, but I just converted after wards, and it worked fine.

I am the same as you. I prefer Altcoin rather than pure Bitcoin. Because in terms of price I still can't afford to buy Bitcoin at that price. On the other hand there are several Altcoins that make me able to buy them, just like Ethereum, RIpple and Litecoin. I am able to play in it and get benefits.

Invest in altcoins is not a big mistake. Some altcoins have the more good feature than Bitcoin itself. You can see some of them offer the speed in processing transaction, some of them smart contract ability and some of them can give you dividend when you hodl them. But remember the key is you must research which one is a really a good altcoins. Some people just got confused cause at the moment there is a lot of altcoins. I'm suggesting you just buy the top altcoins like Neo, Ontology, ETH, TRX

I think it depend on altcoins which you choose. There are a lot of shitcoins. First of all you have to read about project and explore it. Anyway I agree with you that altcoins can give a good profit bigger than BTC.
